Not a fan of this laundry scent

Does a good job on cleaning the laundry. This scent doesn't have an outdoor fresh or clean scent smell. It has an unpleasant smell and is an irritant to my sinuses and allergies. I prefer the citrusy orange scent.

Cleans well but the fresh scent is terrible

Seemed to clean well, like that it has cleaner ingredients. The fresh scent is very off-setting I had to re-wash our clothes as they all has a fake eucalyptus like smell.

Good laundry detergent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seventh Generation my favorite brand for home use. All their ingredients are free from substance harmful to humans . I use their products everything and this laundry gel doesn’t cause any allergic reaction . Packaging - a convenient bottle with a cap that makes it easy to pour the right amount of liquid. Scent - o found the smell unpleasant, it didn’t smell good to me Foaming- perfect Effectiveness- it gets all the stains out of clothes , I have two toddlers and they’re constantly getting dirty, so we need a good stain remover and this gel handle the job perfectly.

Bottles crack - big mess.

The last two bottles we purchased developed leaking cracks in the bottom while the bottles were mostly full. Needless to say this created a huge mess each. I've since read that this is a rather commonly reported problem. Will not purchase again.

A product I feel good about using

Bad scent

The scent is insanely overpowering even if you use a small amount. There’s so many scents listed on the bottle it makes me nauseous. I’ll stick with lavender or no scent.

This product did not disappoint. It’s hard to find a clean ingredient laundry detergent that isn’t fragrance free. I’ve been a Gain user for as long as I can remember because I love that fresh laundry detergent smell. Well let me tell you, Seventh Generation did not miss! The smell isn’t strong and overwhelming, but it’s just…….fresh lol It makes my whole house smell good. This is definitely my new laundry detergent of choice.

Nice Scent. Nice job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the scent for this isn’t too overpowering. This claims a bio based deep clean and I think this detergent did a good job doing that. I actually washed my face rags with this detergent with makeup on them. Usually hard to get clean. This actually worked and did a good job. This also hasn’t irritated my skin.

Smells so terrible

I like this detergent in other scents but the “fresh scent” smells horrible. It’s sickeningly sweet and so strong. I quite literally am just going to have to toss the rest because the smell makes me nauseous.

Laundry Detergent Order

I just received my package, clearly it had been dropped and two of my bottles of the detergent were cracked, when I went online to fix an issue I was only given the option to return the item which is too messy to do. My laundry detergent was in the heavy plastic bags that they were originally packed in. The last order I got from Target was perfect, can’t win them all I guess.

Loving how wonderful my laundry has smelled lately!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fresh Scent liquid detergent from Seventh Generation is to thank! It is a mild scent, which I appreciate as it doesn't interfere with my fragrance obsession. That isn't even the best thing about it. That's reserved for the fact that its 97% Biobased and free of dyes and artificial fragrances. Plus, my clothes are looking fabulously clean!!
