Q: why is it smaller than megatron

  • A: The SS series 86 Megatron and Optimus (which shares a base mold with these battle damage variants) are designed with animation design and scale accuracy in mind so Megatron is a bit bigger and taller due to that being the case in G1 show and movie as well

    Optimus Prime

    I never had this Prime mode when it was first released so this is kinda new to me, I really like what they did with this one how the managed to pull off a battle damage looks for their Prime figure, the head sculpt looks really good, the transformation while complicated is really fun once you get the hang of it. The only negative I have for it is just the price on this figure is ridiculous, other than that not much to complain about I really like this figure.

    SS86 Optimus without the the trailer and at 40% off.

    I was considering the well revered SS86 Optimus (Commander class with the trailer) but that’s $100 and I didn’t really want the trailer either. I was glad to find this release which is essentially the same mold with battle scars but at about a 40% discount. The little stick that sticks in him is quite loose and easy to lose, but that’s not really a huge deal.

    Super Awesome

    I went to my target and found the figure sitting on the shelves. There was only one left. I picked it up and found out that it had been opened, and half of the figure was shaking around in the box. The figure had all of its pieces attached. I asked an employee what I should do and he sent me to the customer service desk. The man there gave it to me for $31.80 instead of 63$!!! The figure is awesome, but considering that I got it for the same price as a deluxe after tax, I am just exploding with happiness.

    Not bad but not perfect.

    The figure itself is nice but the spike has such a small plug it barely hangs on when it’s plugged in. And with the megatron being virtually impossible to get with preordered being cancelled left and right it feels incomplete.
