I have been using Toms for fity years have used Ex Excl us ive ly and now you have changed the taste have put in then that is terrible I cannot use it anymore and I wish you would have left it alone

I dislike the new version since its sweeter. Yuk!!

I like that thus toothpaste has clean ingredients and it is not overly minty. I have sensitive gums and it does not irritate them.

LOVE Toms' coconut oil Florida free toothpaste! As a long time Toms toothpaste customer I was about ready to give up bc of changes to their regular floride free paste flavor. the xylitol had such a strong flavor I just stopped enjoying using it. when I saw this version of floride free paste i tried before giving up on Toms. This is the nicest toothpaste formula, I love it. it does have a gentle mint flavor and I will be using this happily from now on!

You have lost a very long time customer. "Great New Taste"???? Now it tastes like a chemical dump spilled into a bowl of sugar. Way too sweet, and that bitter aftertaste lingers for 20-30 minutes. Zero stars if I could.

"New great taste" contains a stevia compound and literally makes me gag now. Will not use this toothpaste anymore, and very disappointed by this change. Tom's has lost a loyal customer due to this.

Noticeable improvement in whitening of teeth.

The Toms of Maine anti-plaque and whitening toothpaste, peppermint flavored has always been a favorite of ours. But. The “new great taste“ is not as good as the old great taste. Please consider going back to the original formula

This is my new favorite toothpaste. I really like the gentle mint flavor. Some other brands are way too minty. Also, it contains silica for polishing, making my teeth feel very clean. Overall, I highly recommend this toothpaste.

Sadly, after decades of use, I will be switching toothpaste. I’ve been using Tom’s of Maine toothpaste for more than 40 years. I’ve used a variety of incarnations—specifically the fluoride-free since my husband had cancer 7 years ago—and I’ve always felt it was a brand I could trust. Beyond the natural, transparent ingredients, I really appreciated that it was a toothpaste I could find dependable in U.S. stores that didn’t have the typical, nauseating sweetness of most American oral care products. Unfortunately, after opening a tube a few days ago, I found the flavor had changed. At first I thought it had to be me—I’d eaten the wrong thing too soon before brushing my teeth, or maybe I was coming down with a cold—I checked to verify that it was the right brand, the same formulation I typically buy. To my near-despair, I found the warning right on the tube, “Great New Taste!” It’s not. It’s disgusting. It’s sweet, cloying, and despite the “natural flavors” disclaimer, tastes horribly of chemicals. Gone is the product I relied on to save my taste buds from the overpowering fake-clean gorge-rising flavors of classic American toothpaste, and in its place was the newest Crest-wannabe, complete with the sour aftertaste of most sweeteners. I know, business is business, but I’ll be taking mine elsewhere. It might be time to take a look around at the fate of other brands that have hopped gleefully on the more-the-better sugar train—does anyone remember Mrs. Fields—and the fact that fake sweet flavorings, even without sugar (think: diet cola) raise an individual’s risk of diabetes and glucose intolerance. Businesses do what they have to do, but don’t be swayed into thinking that this is a beneficial move for our health, wellness, or happiness. It’s a direct hit to the target our children present after decades of the Standard American Diet. I left it two stars because it is still technically toothpaste.

I used to love the Tom's of Maine Wicked Fresh Peppermint and Spearmint, and am very sad to see that the Flavor has been "improved" to an inferior overly sweet product that tastes more like the regular Colgate and Crest toothpastes. I sincerely hope that they will consider bringing back the old fresh flavor, when they do I would buy it, but now I am asking for a refund!

Came home without it. Was never given the bag.

I’ve bought toms for a while but recently the toothpaste I’ve bought has been leaving a bad taste in my month. It’s been the past 4momths

The new formulas caused me to have migraines for 4 days in a row , it taste disgusting, I used to Love this tooth paste because it was the healthier option it’s literally poisoning my system

I've been using this toothpaste for about 8 years now. I've always loved how it cleans my mouth and makes it feel fresh. However, I recently bought one about a month a go and realized the taste was different, it was sweeter. When I looked at the tube, it said "New Great Taste". This new great taste is too sweet for my liking, why do we have to kill everything with sweetners? Now I'm thinking about finding another brand because I dont get why Toothpaste should taste sweet anyways. Sprey to say, but you guys might have just lost a valued customer because of this.

They changed the ingredients and the taste is now unbearable. I just bought a 4 pack that I can’t use…

I prob just should’ve checked ingredients better but it has xylitol and I’m super cautious with stuff like that bc my dog is sneaky affectionate lol and I’m terrified this could hurt him. I just assumed it was fine. Giving 2 stars bc I can’t speak for the actual quality of the product, I returned before using.
