Warnings

gingivitis, bleeding, or redness persists for more than 2 weeks,you have painful or swollen gums, pus from the gum line, loose teeth, or increasing spacing between the teeth. These may be signs of periodontitis, a serious form of gum disease.

Adults and Children 12 Years of Age and Older

Apply at least a 1-inch strip of the product onto a soft bristled toothbrush. Brush teeth thoroughly for at least 1 minute twice a day (morning and evening) or as recommended by a dentist. Make sure to brush all sensitive areas of the teeth. Do not swallow.

Children Under 12 Years of Age

Consult a dentist.

Other information

Products containing stannous fluoride may produce surface staining of the teeth. Adequate toothbrushing may prevent these stains which are not harmful or permanent and may be removed by your dentist. This Colgate product is specially formulated to help prevent staining.

You can’t go wrong with this toothpaste. It’s affordable and really keeps your teeth clean and gums healthy. My husband and I both use it and our dental hygienist says whatever we are using is working great. Has a nice minty taste.

Allergic reaction

I’ve had an allergic reaction to this new formula. After a couple days of usage, the inside of my mouth, tongue and gums have all swollen, leaving me with pain and struggling to eat. There’s no way it’s anything else - it’s the only new thing that’s been introduced to my routine. Total waste of money and worrying what they’ve added to the ingredients - I’ve never had an allergic reaction like this to anything, let alone toothpaste.

It has a nice minty taste that isn't too intense, but did leave my breath noticeably better than other toothpaste I've used. I can't say that I've noticed any specific benefits regarding things like gingivitis and plaque, but my teeth do look whiter and feel cleaner. I'd definitely recommend this toothpaste.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I loved the packaging of the product! Usually you have toothpaste lat flat and it takes up more room that way, but this packaging makes the toothpaste stand up making it easier to grab and use in the morning. I do feel my teeth are cleaner using the toothpaste but haven't noticed them getting whiter quite yet/some stains are still there (granted it doesn't advertise that it is for whitening, so it's not a deal breaker). I would definitely buy this two pack again though!
