Strong perfumey smell on clothes

Smells like the same perfumed, disinfectant, febreze-like smell that is everywhere these days, especially on deliveries (like a warehouse disinfectant). Very strong fruity floral smell. Might be ok on sensitive skin (which I have) but I’ll never know because the fragrance was so strong and unpleasant that I had to rewash the load. Clothes didn’t smell clean, just perfumed and still had unwashed clothes funk.
