    I LOVE TTEOKBOKKI ♡ It's definitely a game changer if you tried cooking it on the stove instead of the microwave (in my opinion)! If some of you can't handle the spice, I recommend either adding less of the sauce packet, or adding honey while it's cooking!

    Spice is Intolerable

    I never write reviews. This is actually my first so when I say I’m highly disappointed in this I MEAN IT. I’ve been a Buldak lover for years now, the rice cakes itself are very yummy in my opinion ( they are gummy like how others mentioned ) I can tolerate spice but this was just over the top. If you’re into that you’ll enjoy it but I don’t even think it’s possible to enjoy something so spicy. The formula has definitely changed.

    another Hanguk win

    tteokbokki is new to me. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about three Hanguk saram and culture. I an Andres at the difference in the sauce just waiting a few more minutes. when it was really hot, it was much spicier and there was hardly any carbonara. but the cooler it got the more nuanced the glaze and the cheese really shines through. it is a glorious food I plan to continue to eat. the unique texture of the rice cakes are so different than any thing else I've ever had. I really enjoy them!

    Disappointed from a tteokbokki lover

    I looove tteokbokki. I don’t like this. The rice cakes are a bit too gummy. And yes, I know the texture rice cakes should have. I enjoy rice cakes! It is noticeably spicier than the carbonara noodles, which I should’ve known considering it is tteokbokki which is already spicy.
