By far the best value retinal available!it’s in a gel vehicle so put moisturizer over it if you have dry skin. It’s too strong for my neck- wish they would come out with a .5 or even .25 percent version.

I love how this product sink right into my skin and is not greasy! Any it’s very affordable!

I LOVE this product! I am repurchasing it for the third time and will try the 2 percent formula when this tube runs out. It smooths on easily. It doesn’t irritate my delicate neck skin. I use it on my hands, arms and décolletage. In addition to retinaldehyde, it has some other skin positive ingredients. I also use generic tretinoin because it is stronger but this formula of retinaldehyde is MUCH more pleasant to use.

My skin looks wonderful! I’ve already ordered my second tube. I’ve recently noticed that the skin on my neck looks tighter and the horizontal wrinkles I have on my neck have been fading. My skin tone is also much more even, and dark spots are fading.

I was a Curology customer for years then changed to Agency. As I have gotten older my skin has become much more sensitive. I just could not tolerate the tretinoin even with adjustments. I switched to this Retinal and could be happier! Works well and perfect for my aging, drier sensitive skin!

I’m not 100% sure but I may be allergic/sensitive to this product. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and I’m having rash like breakouts. I’ve been very happy with other products but my super sensitive skin may not like this one.

I was concerned that this might be too strong for my menopausal dry sensitive skin, after moving to the .1% from using a .05%, but it’s been a seamless conversion. I did only start phasing this in at 1 night a week for the first couple weeks (other .05% Retinaldehyde the other 3 nights), and I used the sandwich method with Prequel Half & Half as the first layer as suggested. I upped it to 2 times a week for the next couple of weeks, etc. I also only use the Retinaldehyde as my only active for my 4 retinal nights a week, as recommended by Dermatologists. I’ve been trying to simplify my routine by only using the few actives that are actually verified to be effective, with Retinoids being at the top of the list. I plan on continuing with this Retinol in my permanent rotation, maxing out at only 4 nights per week.

I’ve been using another brand of retinaldehyde for several years, but I’ve always felt that it was overpriced, so I honestly tried this because it’s less expensive. However, I’m very pleased with it, so now I’m loving the product and the price! I also love that this comes in 2 strengths. I’m using the .1 now, but I’m hoping to try the .2 soon. I’ve used the .1 strength for a while.

It has been a month since I gave thid product a chance and it did not dissapoint. I can't tolerate prescription retinoids and have been using a similar retinal but less potent. Gave this a chance in the lowest potency and my skin went from good to great! The only thing I experienced was so mild barely noticeable purging which turned out to be a good thing because it is now clear and thriving. You dont need to go all that strong and a little goes a ling way. I use it on my neck with no irritatiin. Will be repurchasing soon since it's now a staple in my routine 5 times a week. I love all Prequel Products and use them almost exclusively for my skin care. This product Works fine but stained by expensive sheets. Going to try soaking in oxyclean but I’m not willing to do that all the time to use this product.

I use the 0.1% retinal every night followed by the urea lotion. No dryness or irritation for me. I did not notice any staining on my sheets (I have slate blue sheets), BUT I did notice staining on the sides of my cuticles/underneath my nails. The staining was so bad that I had to use my husband's Fast Orange pumice wash (the kind that gets rid of paint, grease, etc.) to scrub those areas. Even despite that, there is a hint of staining left. I'm going to use gloves now to apply... Please fix this, Prequel!!

I just didn't use this long enough to give a good review the battle was nice it didn't irritate my face I just I'm trying to downsize my skin care I still use all the other prequel products though and I love every one of them well except the vitamin C it does tend to burn my face a little bit

Zero irritation. My skin actually looks better once I apply this. I can even use it on my neck and the back of my hands with zero issues. I’m almost completely out and I bought it 6 months ago. Great value. Science backed ingredients.

Stains your pillow case no matter how long before bed you apply it.

I had been using another companies .5 retinal and was so excited to try this one as I love the prequel products. It did take some time for my skin to acclimate but using the sandwich method has helped a lot. I’m now well able to use this regularly and have seen a huge improvement! My 11’s are almost gone!

Use a silk pillowcase! I haven’t had issues with stains like other have mentioned due to the silk which is supposed to be best for skin too anyw Started with .1 but will purchase .2 next!

LOVE this retinal! High efficacy! And I love the packaging. This retinal blends right in and is a pleasure to use.

Love this retinol and all of prequel products

I switched to this because i really didn't like tret, which I felt was making me look worse. I'm using the stronger version and, yes, it is comfortable to wear. I don't need to use a buffer. But, it stained my white pillowcase and I really don't see much of an improvement in my skin. It looks OK, but not what I was led to believe a retinal would do for me. I am currently on my second bottle (wanted to be sure I gave it enough time). So that's where I am with it. The price is right and I can use an old pillowcase, but at the end of the day, I need to see some results for my money.

This retinal is great. I've been using it now for only a week and noticing a difference in my acne and skin no longer looks dull. I've paired it with prequels sulfur cleanser, hypochlorus acid, their gel moisturizer. I am using the .01% & It is non irritating. If you're having issues with staining and yellow tint, this is common with retinal as they are naturally yellow from vit A. I would try to use a little less because honestly a little goes a long way with the product. I only use half a pump for my entire face, and half a pump for my neck and chest.
