Q: I currently have this product - 12 rolls but each roll has 284 sheets per roll. I see the "new versions" have 20 sheets less. WHY??

  • A: Cindy something I've learned is the majority of TP is septic safe. It's a matter of how quickly it breaks down in the tank. Most ultra toilet paper takes a while to break down= pumping tank more

  • A: Wow! Kate did a really crappy job answering you (pardon the pun)! Supposedly, Target has had a goal to get PFAS out of every up and up product by 2025. However, like you, I would like to hear a definite yes or no from target. Further, as thier toilet paper is white, they no doubt bleach it. I also believe it is made from wood pulp, rather than sugar cane or bamboo, making it less sustainable. Due to their commitment to remove PFAS and the fact that their sandwich bags do not have BPAs, I have high hopes that Target will up their toilet paper game down the road. Especially as a large mainstream company making this commitment would lower prices of environmental and user safe toilet paper everywhere. I have tried all different toilet papers and I’m usually more picky with my toilet paper. I found this toilet paper really soft and doesn’t leave any residue. One thing I didn’t like was the packaging and how when I opened it all the toilet paper came out and they were stuck together by something sticky. Other than that I really like this toilet paper.

This one is almost like a thick version of regular toilet paper. The pattern is cute. It seems to last longer since I feel like I need less with how soft and sturdy it is. There are 18 rolls included in the package which would be good for larger families. It did not clog the toilet and dissolved right away. I don’t have a toilet paper roll holder anymore but it seems like it would fit on that just fine.

    Hopeful but wasn't

    I bought a smaller pack before I bought this 18 pack. I liked it. However this 18 pack is horrible. The layers separate and are off square so it’s like that throughout the whole role. Every roll is the same. I will not be buying it again. I love the tissues but the toilet paper doesn’t even compare.

    The worst

    this toilet paper is an absolute mess. Dust/lint flies everywhere when ripping sheets off to use. And that's exactly what's left behind on the body after using. I've never felt compelled to write a review about toilet paper but money has been spent and the product is unbearable to use

    Terrible & Sheds

    Terrible especially if your a girl. This sheds crazy and it’s not fun when you have a partner. It’s embarrassing and not fun. Besides the awful shedding it is very soft. I recommend for men but not women.

    Linty dusty mess

    I don't have brand loyalty with TP, I just grab what is on sale, and stay away from single ply. What that being said, I have never hated a toilet paper... but I truly hated this one to the point it might get repurposed as fire starter this fall. If you are just a dabber.. it's probably fine for you. If you wipe anything with any remote pressure, it will become a lint-trap. Keep it stored in the bag, or prepare for your storage space to be a dusty linty mess. ì<ù9

    I wouldn't recommend.

    This is not soft tissue. The absorbency is not very great either I feel like I’m definitely using more toilet paper than other brands. I have absolutely noticed a lot of flak Ines due to the paper and it’s kind of stuck together to the point where instead of it being two-ply it separates.

    Mold!!!!

    I’ve been using Up & Up Ultra Soft toilet paper from Target for about a year with no major issues. Occasionally, I’d get a roll that felt “inside out” and was oddly scratchy instead of soft, but it was only a handful of occasions that happened, so I overlooked it. However, I just opened a new package and have been using it for the past week. I then noticed the last two rolls at the bottom were literally covered in mold!!!! Completely unacceptable and honestly disgusting. This isn’t just a quality issue—it’s a health concern, especially for something used on sensitive areas. I contacted Target customer service immediately after I found it and was offered a refund or a replacement, which is fine, but that doesn’t address the bigger problem. Moldy products should never make it onto shelves in the first place. This needs to be taken seriously and looked into immediately. This batch should be taken off the shelves.
