Q: Do the flowers on the outside come off?

  • A: The flowers are sewn on. My daughter has the leopard bag with lunchbox last year. One of the bows fell off sometime during the year. I recommend reinforcing with a few stitches. :)

  • A: I have washed in the washing machine. A few of of the internal threads did shed. I didnt a quick clean up with scissors. I recommend reinforcing the appliques with a few stitches before washing.

    Zipper pulls fraying after first use

    A very sweet backpack- reminds me of PB but at a quarter of the price. Small detail: zipper pulls started to fray. I’ll probably trim and apply a little hot glue or clear nail polish to prevent future fraying.

    This is very upsetting

    My daughter was very sad and upset that she couldn’t take the backpack she had picked out and loved for her first day of school. For the price and reputation of Target, I expected much better quality. This backpack was clearly poorly made and should not have been sold in this condition. I am very disappointed with this purchase and would appreciate a resolution, such as a replacement or refund. More importantly, I hope Target looks into the quality of this product so other children and parents don’t experience the same disappointment.

    Cute, but not durable

    This backpack was really cute, but it unfortunately broke on the first day of school — while waiting at the bus stop. The side strap snapped. I’m not sure why they’d put a seam in the snap buckle area. The backpack was not fixable and we returned it, with about 10 minutes of wear time.

    Cute Strawberry Backpack

    This is a very cute backpack, that you can buy all matching accessories for. My daughter loved that Cat & Jack had the matching lunch box, bento box, and Owala to go with it. Target even carries matching strawberry ice packs to go inside. The backpack itself is very roomy. It has a slip pocket inside and two extra zipper pockets on the front to help with organization. As a bonus, you get a convenient little pouch that hangs in the front that my kiddo has placed her chapstick, lotion and hand sanitizer in to grab quickly after recess. This back pack is big enough to carry anything your elementary aged child would need!

    Great for elementary school children

    This is such a chic backpack for a first grader. The size is just right it sits very comfortably on my child. I was looking for a darker backpack this year but didn’t want black and this was perfect. Fabric seems like it will hold up all year long. The quality can be compared to Jansport brand but fraction of the price.

    I so badly wanted to rate this 5 because we love leopard and cat & jack! I bought this July 9th. It's been used a total of 2 school days. Today, on the third day the strap snapped. It was not overly full, containing only gym shoes and a folder for my kindergarten aged girl. The good is its absolutely adorable, she fell in love and got the whole set. Not great quality, and we unfortunately have learned our lesson this year. 🙁
