With other car seats I’ve used, I’ve had to manually remove and rethread the harness straps through different slots as my child grows. With the Bay Latch SI, the harness adjusts automatically as you move the headrest up or down. Another feature that I already know is going to be an all-time favorite is the cupholders! They lock securely into the seat and can only be removed by pressing a release button underneath. There are directions on the seat itself to make sure you are utilizing properly and the adjustable locks lock directly into the seat easier than any other car seat I have seen. The carseat to booster concept naturally sits lower to the base of the car allowing for easier entry by the kids, and the magnetic clip makes it simple for them to buckle themselves up. Since we all know that at this stage in the game, kids can do everything themselves! This car seat makes that easier, and more intuitive. When converting to a highback and regular booster really are simple buttom pushes, and the navigation of the seatbelt always remains in a position that feels safe for my kids, across the chest at shoulder level. Another awesome perk is the ability for the booster to latch into the seat anchors. That way the booster seat is stable once my child is able to buckle themselves up. At this point the biggest battle is getting my younger daughter in her own car seat, so it’s safe to say this is kid tested, kid approved.

Our oldest is in the 3rd row and for once we feel like she is safe in her seat.
