Safety experts strongly recommend remaining in the 5-point harness as long as possible until reaching its maximum limits of 50 lbs or 48 inches. Children are typically not developmentally ready for a booster until at least 4 years old, as they must be mature enough to sit properly for the entire ride without slouching, leaning forward, or mispositioning the seat belt.

Back base lock breaks

I wanted to really like this but it is not very safe. You have to really watch the videos to see how to strap it in correctly. you have to strap in the base as well as the back. Then the back has a plastic tab that keeps it locked to the base. It is easily broken, which happened to us. Our toddler stood on it and pushed the back and it fell against the wall and snapped the little tab so the back no longer locks in, rendering the back with harness useless.

Very cheaply made! Material snags and looks all worn out after only a few months. Belts constantly get twisted just don’t feel very safe.!

Child Cries About Back Pain

Uncomfortable, my 4 year old cries if back pain for any car ride past 10 minutes. He never did this with his previous seat. Returning.

Economical and easy to install

The covering is very thin so it is uncomfortable for long road trips. However, the padded insert does provide some relief, but your child can quickly outgrow the insert. When we first took it out of the box, we had a really difficult time undoing the latches because of the way they were put together. They were clipped together in a awkward way. Overall, it is economical and does provide solid protection, and it is easy for your child to independently buckle and unbuckle themselves when getting in and out of the car for school. It was also easy to install. If it wasn’t for my child constantly complaining about their bottom hurting, I would give this car seat a solid 5 stars.

Great Seat for Toddler

This car seat is great. We have this for our almost 3 year old which sits comfortably in it. This seat helps promote independence with the buckles being not so stiff so my son can assist buckling and unbuckling himself since I have 3 children. Installation was easy and safety is great. We got this seat to replace our old Century one that we have had for 6 years.

Don’t make the mistake I made with this five point harness. It only holds up to 50 pounds before you have to use the seatbelt. They don’t advertise that clearly anywhere.
