Unhappy with this item

Not sure if I should put one or two stars... I got this for my 1 year old for Christmas in 2025. She is now almost 2. I had seen videos of little ones jamming out on it and couldn't wait to get my baby playing with it. I can't express my level of disappointment with the design. Babies learning to hold themselves up to stand can't help but rest their hands on the keyboard, but when the music is going, it stops as soon as a key on the keyboard is pressed, shutting off the music entirely and completely ruining the jamming out. My baby gets frustrated with it and it just causes unnecessary big emotions and mental breakdowns. She avoids it more than plays with it because it just makes her mad. It can be fun if the baby is just messing with the buttons and stuff and doesn't press anything once the music is going, but like I said, babies just learning their balance and needing support to stand up can't help but press those keyboard buttons and it just ruins everything. Even after learning her balance, when the music is going she wants to play along with it, or stand there and dance while the music is going, one press of the buttons just shuts everything off. Super super disappointed and frustrated with this thing. Will definitely not recommend it. It's definitely overpriced, but I really should have just splurged on the VTech toddler keyboard. SO disappointed with this.

Let me tell you my 2 year grandson LOVES!!! This thing he djs and sings and dance all the time he truly enjoys it and I bought it for him before he turned one he couldn’t even Stand but he could DJ!!!!!!

Received this item as a 1st birthday gift for my son. Unfortunately the sound never worked on it. Tried replacing the batteries & nothing. Seems like a common defect based on my research. I did reach out to Mattel customer service and since they did not have the product in stock, so they could not ship me a new one. They offered 2 different products or a money credit. It's a shame because my son keeps trying to play with it but then gives up :(

Absolutely perfect for our very busy grandchild! He loves all the knobs and buttons, and dances along with the music. Great toy, good quality and appears to be quite durable. Happy with this purchase!

My 19 month old son likes this. His favorite is spinning the DJ track. It doesn’t hold his attention for too long

Worked great for a few months then sound just went out and tried switching batteries out and resetting it but still no luck. It’s a common enough issue I guess

Had this for less than a year and the sound stopped working what a rip off.

2nd time it is delayed. Ordered April 24th now supposedly arriving May 15th. No explanation given.

My kid got this at 1 year old, and still loves it, he’s about to be 2. It’ll keep them busy for awhile! Recording feature is fun.

My son loves it

My 10 month old loves this toy, he even dance to the songs. Only negative is I was really looking forward to it playing the viral rave like song, but the one I got does not play it. It only has like 4 songs that it keeps replaying. I was under the impression that when they said over 100 sounds it would included more songs for my baby to dance to, not just key note sounds and words.

Encourages walking for those stubborn babies that still want to crawl or are just having a hard time with mobility having chunky legs! Very engaging and fun toy that keeps the littles pulling themselves up and excited to walk without them realizing!

Gave this to my 8 month old daughter on Christmas and a month later she still loves it! We have had to change batteries already but she uses to very frequently. She loves to turn the wheel and hear different songs. It’s definitely her favorite toy and I like that I’ll be able to put the legs on once she’s standing so she can continue using it. 9 month old nephew LOVES it. Its great for floor play and standing play. He dances and giggled endlessly. The older kids (5 and 3) also enjoy it.

This is an engaging entertaining toy and our granddaughter 11 months old loved it! However it had stopped working. Added fresh batteries— tried trouble shooting! Not good as we really loved this toy.

So much fun! My 10 month old is having so much fun standing and playing. There are a lot of things to touch and not a lot of stimulating bright lights. There is some but it’s not overwhelming. My 3 year old is also having fun playing with it. They are loving the “record” feature that lets you record your voice for about a 15 second clip and then it plays it back. This is a great toy for babies learning to stand.

I GOT THIS FOR MY NEPHEW Dec 2nd and it's January 6 and he still hasn't gotten it and it's now out of stock. This review is less for the item and more for target. Insane.
