A blessing
My baby doesn’t like teether toys. I swear, I’ve bought many and he won’t touch them. He’s teething pretty bad, so I took him to Target and found these. I handed him the package and he began chewing on the package. I couldn’t even get them from him at check out, so I just let him keep them and scanned them with a handheld. I almost didn’t open them. lol. I was very surprised to see that he liked the actual sticks too! He munched on them for a very long time. Great product!

Great for special needs kids, too!
These are great chewy toys for young children with special needs! I had a young student with special needs in my class and I was trying to get him to stop chewing on his pacifiers- they would be (and still are) covered in bite/teeth marks. These are durable enough to stand up to his chewing and he can't shove the whole straw in his mouth like he almost can with the pacifier. Most importantly, he LOVES them and when he moved up to the next classroom, i made sure his "chewy sticks" (as I call them) went with him. Occasionally I will visit that classroom and I am pleased to say that they use them, too, as a safe chewing alternative for the student.

our 11 month old loves these. i wish i had found these sooner, our son hasn’t found anything he likes teething on besides a blanket and his own hands.. i saw these yesterday and said ill try one more teething item and see what happens.. Choking hazard, do not buy!
Choking hazard as others said. My child on two accounts had these sticks pushed too far back her throat during tummy time. Luckily I was right there, but incredibly dangerous. The design of theses has so stoppers from babies lodging these to their throats. Highly recommend target reconsider selling these.

Finger Gnawing, Skill Practice & Muscle Building
Baby loves these and so do we! Perfect firmness/squish that is similar to when they want to chew on their fingers or yours. We're always worried our hands aren't clean enough, so these are super handy. YES, you need to SUPERVISE your baby with these. They CAN shove it too far back. These are great for that reason--they can reach their molar area, work their tongue muscles, and figure out their own gag reflex. These are all important skills for drinking, eating, and speaking. With solid foods coming soon, I love that baby can practice these skills in a safe, supervised fashion.

Choking hazard!!!
Do not buy! Choking hazard. My baby was using one of these while I was making breakfast. She was right in front of me. The entire stick was stuck in her throat. Not cool! Save yourself $8 and buy some rounded ones they can actually grip better.
