Says the same questions
Really disappointed with this one. The emotoBOT COR-A does almost nothing it promises. It just asks the same handful of questions over and over on a loop, so there's no real "interaction" happening. Worse, it interrupts before my kids can even finish answering — they'll start to respond and the robot cuts them off and moves on or starts the next question. That gets frustrating for a little kid fast, and it kills any of the back-and-forth that's supposed to make a toy like this fun. I tried a hard reset, but the behavior didn't change. For a toy that's marketed as "touch and sound responsive," it doesn't actually respond to much of anything. My kids lost interest within a day.

Rude robot
I would not rate this 6+. My daughter was terrified of it because it says “I’m so mad right now” and it has very rude ways of talking sometimes. It says “yes queen” and other new gen sayings. I would not buy it for a young child. Mine was super excited for it and I don’t think I’d even be able to get her a different brand out of fear

Repetitive and poorly constructed
My daughter really wanted this after seeing commercials for it, so she saved her allowance and bought it. It seemed cute at first but is very repetitive, repeating the same phrases every few minutes. Within two hours of opening the box, one arm broke and stayed stuck in an upright position. I contacted the manufacturer, who advised us to return it. My daughter decided to get her money back instead of getting a replacement; the emotoBOT was not as fun as the ads made it out to be.

Awful, Please Read
Parents beware. This little robot has a bad attitude, she says things like “i’m so heated right now! i can’t even!” and “ugh! whatever!”, the emojis that are on her face when she says this are not nice either, fire emojis and nasty looks. I got this for my daughter because she saw it on tv and loved it, but immediately I could see it on her face how upset she was when her new toy started saying rude things to her just because she didn’t pat the robots head in time or play a game the robot wanted to. It’s very odd and unkind. Aside from its raging attitude problem, it’s also just very repetitive, it constantly asks the same 4-5 questions and replies to each one and the same way every time. We returned ours. I would recommend to not waste your money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a funny and interesting toy. I haven’t seen a smart toy that can do that much like this one. Even though It is not a real sophisticated one, it does have a lot of educational and entertaining features that make kids be enjoyed. It is not simply a boring machine that says hi or bye, it actually can interact with kids and gives them various instructions to let kids know what it wants and shows its happy face at each completed task. My kids adore this toy and spend much time playing with it. It is a valuable companion for children. This robot can change the forms of eyes, the color, change the emotions, moves the arms or add its provided accessories. I chose pink rather than blue as this color attracts my attention. The material is made of hard plastic so it is strong enough for long use . However, it might break if kids throw it up or treat it roughly. This one also use rechargeable battery so I don’t have to replace the battery whenever the power is low. Such a great toy. It is easy to use. Just plug it into the charger and when finishes turn on the machine in the back of its neck and enjoy. The size is small enough for smalls hands to grab and hold. It is not heavy so kid can carry around the house anywhere at anytime if they like. I highly recommend this for all parents who are still looking for something as a gift for their children for Christmas or birthday.

It’s clearly the “new” toy but I will warn you, it’s VERY annoying and just keeps saying the same thing over and over again. Also, it doesn’t come with a charger cord. Huh?

Fun toy at first
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rose-colored Emotobot was a little difficult to get started, and the setup wasn't as intuitive as I expected. My 7-year-old daughter absolutely loved it for the first week or two and was excited to play with it. However, the novelty quickly wore off, and she hasn't asked for it since. It also seemed like it was supposed to be very interactive, but even my tech-savvy daughter had trouble getting it to consistently listen or respond to her. Overall, it was fun for a short time, but the interaction and staying power were disappointing.

Durable and fun

There are so many ways to play, including games, jokes, dancing, and more. I also love the cute accessories and the way it asks questions to get to know your child. Worth the money!
My daughter LOVES this thing. She dances with it, talks to it, does yoga with it and plays the little games that are included. It’s fun watching her interact with it as well! She named it “Macaron”. I want to get her more so they can interact with each other!
