Q: Can you cook only one?

  • A: You can cook TWO waffles at a time. This is the double so you add batter, close and flip and then open the other side and add batter. It’s great. We own it and love it. I’m shocked that the brand “expert” answered this question and said you can only cook one waffle. WOW!

  • A: Yes, you can absolutely make just one waffle at a time. The Cuisinart Double Flip Belgian Waffle Maker simply operates as two independent waffle grids on a single rotating axis. To make only one waffle, just pour your batter into the bottom grid, close it, flip the unit over, and let it cook. You do not need to add batter to the second grid if you are only making a single serving.

    Great waffles, lights could be brighter

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our Third flip Cuisinart Waffle maker , not because they break fast ! It is because we love Waffles Crispy on the outside and soft inside so we set the waffle iron on High! Every double flip Cuisinart we have had has come with improvements this newest one is so easy to clean, removable tray on base under the flip iron and no exposed wiring that was hard to keep oil and pancake batter clean!     Not overly Impressed

    So far not overly impressed. I’m comparing this to the waring pro I had to replace. I bought this based on all of the reviews. Hopefully things get better. One thing that is irritating is the length of time it takes to heat up.

    Second One of These

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the good side it does make good crispy Belgium waffles. I think for the price these could be built a bit better. There is a lot of plastic, just like the cheaper ones. The problem is, the next step up is several hundred dollars.

    Double the fun

    We love this waffle maker! With the ability to make two at a time is so convenient for families. We used to have a Waring waffle iron, it was good, but by comparing the two, this is better! Similar quality but with the time savings is amazing! The nonstick is truly nonstick, I just spray/brush on a little olive oil, drop on the batter and watch the magic happen. The seal is also great, I haven't made much of a mess like I did with the Waring iron either. This one is a winner!

    Great results but a few suggestions to improve

    Everything has cooked beautifully. While we decided to keep this combo air fryer/toaster oven, there are a few issues that need attention. First, the fan is very loud at high baking temps and airplane level when air frying. Second, a design flaw (IMHO): since the mesh insert is not attached to the baking pan, there's no easy way to carry the mesh insert with finished food over to plates with pan underneath to catch drips - awkward. Also, the heat turns off when you open door, interrupting cooking.

    Don't overthink it, just get it! I used to have this waffle maker in red and accidentally dropped it and it broke 😩, decided to replace it with another brand and totally regret it, finally was able to purchase it again and I love it! missed the nice waffles this thing makes 🙂 tip add whipped egg whites to your waffle mix to get airy and crispy waffles.

    Just buy it!

    This is one of the BEST small appliance purchase that I have made in a LONG time! So easy & quick! The waffles come out so good. Just wish the plates were removable for easy cleaning. I just make sire I wipe down right after using. Doesn't take up alot of room either.

    My Favorite Waffle Maker

    This waffle maker is one of the best purchases that I've made! I love the ease of using it and how quickly I can have them ready for breakfast. Easy to clean and use. The timer on the waffles is a little hard to get used to, but after a couple of uses, it's easy to navigate. I would definitely recommend purchasing it.
