    Cannon EOS R100 a good easy to use camera

    Bought this camera for family pictures & scenic shots while riding off road in our Polaris RZR, it's small & lightweight makes it easy to use. Takes very sharp pictures with good color, would buy again.

    I LOVEEEE THIS CAMERA!!! its my first real camera.... needed something for quality insta pics and just for life moments and this is perfect!!     Love it!

    Ease of use! Great quality images. I read some reviews that said they were unable to retract the lens. I’ve added a video and images. To retract the lens, the little white dots need to align. To do so, you need to turn the dial that moves the lens toward the “18” and then with a little pressure past the 18 so that the white dots align. See photos and video. To remove the lens, press the black button (see photos) so that you can turn it until the Red line aligns with the Canon words. I added an image of the SD card I purchased. It’s awesome! Also, when you are ready to start, you’ll get message that says “set, the lens to the shooting position”. Basically turn the lens dial from 18-45. Seems obvious but trying to help some of us that need a little more. There are so many great tutorials online on what the different dial options do. So, far I’ve used (M) manual) I’m using a microfiber cloth to clean screen. You can also buy a screen protector. I’m so happy it was on sale, and after all my saved Target Gift cards, rewards I’ve saved up, got it for an awesome deal! I’m not a professional photographer and only using for family, trip photos. It’s Perfect!!

    This is not a dual lens kit.

    Camera itself is great. Problem is the dell description saying it is a dual lens kit which it is not. "Dual Lens Kit. This kit is supplied with two RF-S lenses for greater versatility. The RF-S 18-45mm is a lens that lets you embrace your creativity while the RF-S 55-210mm offers telephoto reach".

    Great throw-and-go camera

    I wanted a smaller, mirror-less camera with RAW capabilities I could just grab and throw in the car or a long walk. I previously owned a 6D and currently own an R8. For the price, it was almost a no-brainer. The camera has meet my expecations and then some. The R100 uses the same battery as my R8; another plus.

    New User Stoked by EOS experience

    The EOS R100 is a major step-up for me, from consumer to entry-level professional grade. So far, it's crawl-walk-run with the deep feature set; but I'm excited at the doors this is opening for me. The interface is very well arranged and thought-out; the only limitation being the energy put into tasting the experience of putting the camera through its paces. I'm totally stoked!

    Keep hearing, you don’t want the R100. Get the R50, or full frame. But this thing takes beautiful pictures and with the price. It was a no brainer.

    Practically brand new!!

    Bought this for my wife to get started in photography as our family grows. I was looking for a cost effective entry point into Canon’s eco-system and this r100 is perfect. The device was practically new beyond the box it came in and included all the accessories to get up and running. Would and will highly recommend!!
