Q: How do I change filters? I keep pressing the filter button and it keeps saying V1. The numbers keep adding up and the shutter sound occurs.

    Worked until it says error

    Bought it Aug 20 & tested it out - worked fine. Used it a bit later at an event we had,worked fine as well. Went to NY this past weekend and it worked for the first 2 days then it says error. I tried removing the SD card as well as resetting the camera but it's still saying error. I googled on what to do and had tried everything besides buying a new micro SD card which I'm planning on doing but sucks because now I'm spending more money on something slightly expensive already. Just disappointed because pictures turned out great until I couldn't use it the last 2 days in NY, so upset about that.

    Best Camera of 2026

    10/10 purchase! I think a lot of people got this camera because they want a screen free option to be able to document and capture their lives without being distracted by their phone... which completely valid. However I had the opposite issue. Often during events or outings with my family, I am so in the moment I have no clue where my phone is! I then get to the end with no photos to remember the day. This camera is easy, and allows me to be intentional with the things I want to capture. Bonus points that it is easy for my kids to use too and be able to capture family events from their POV.

    Great for kids, fun gimmick for adults

    Generally, it's good! It's a gimmicky thing for adults, but a great idea for kids. It can be a little finicky when transferring imagines to the phone (i.e., the dates are wrong, and each one is automatically captioned "my favorite pic"), but overall it's fun.

    Love the translucent colors! They make a great camera even more fun! Although, I think the Pro takes better photos due to higher MPs, I love the Camp Snap v2! It’s a fun camera!

    Fun little thing

    Easy to use, fun device. I do like all the features that this camera has and my friends loved it. The only issue is the snap sound being quite annoying and a bit of lag once you press the button and for now the file transfer did not work with my iPhone 13.

    I bought this just about a month ago and am very pleased! It’s a fun little camera- easy to use. When we are out and about I will let the kids take it. Not only is it simple, it’s surprisingly strong enough for 8 year olds and takes fantastic photos! Upload is simple and the filters all look great.     Makes fotography fun again

    Love it. You notice the oversharpening more in person than online (due to image compression when posting to places like Reddit, Instagram or Youtube videos with pictures in them), which is my only slight nuisance. Low-light performance isn't very good, but that's as expected. This little camera has definitely brought the fun back into photography for me - I've been having a lot of fun going out to snap pictures, and experimenting with the different filters (third party filters are definitely worth it, whether free or paid). The flash, while noticeably weaker than a xenon, is actually better for night-time portraits than I expected - gives those nice, sharp shadows that make the disposable/compact camera flash look. Dropped it a couple times on concrete from an about 1 meter height (3-4 feet), got a couple minor scuffs but still works perfectly. Recommended.

    Meh, I don't know if I just don't get it or what but I cannot get an interesting photo with this. I thought it would be fun but I am not using it at all because not one picture I have taken has been worth saving. This could be user error

    So fun!

    The CampSnap 2 has been so fun! I've had it for about a month now and have taken it on outdoor adventures, bar hangs, and everyday walks. I have tested the filters and gravitate towards the B+W and the standard. So much contrast in the B+W, it's been so fun! The flash is great and really helpful as the camera isn't the best in low light. Changing the filters is quite annoying by holding the button down for 10 whole seconds and I often just take an accidental photo with that button. I've been recommending it to everyone and it will make a great gift!

    An excellent device with a few setbacks

    Overall an excellent device- however there are a few small setbacks. I took out the micro SD card and found that if you don’t put it in the exact right way you can actually almost lose the SD card in the hole! The camera only comes with a USB to USB-C, which isn’t all that useful if you don’t have the correct device to connect to. So I needed to get a USB adapter. The LCD screen at the back is a tad difficult to see in low light. Mostly because it’s so small. Other than this. It’s a wonderful design and takes great photos.

    Terrible viewfinder.

    I haven’t used the camera much. Unfortunately the viewfinder is terrible. I wear glasses and contact lenses, and it’s only WITHOUT them I can see through the viewfinder. It’s a if it has a permanent diopter correction lens attached.

    Brought out my son's artistry

    He wanted to do a whole photo shoot. It brought out the best of film (not reviewing what the last shot looked like, waiting for the results, no games or screen) and digital (not having to be precious about how many shots to take). Truly lovely. I wish it could take videos so we could ditch our phone's camera for good.

    The best Camp Snap yet

    Even better than the pro. Both cameras are great, but the size of the CS2 makes it much easier to throw in my pocket on the go. No power on time, just shoot. Switch filters on the fly, a great improvement.

    loose on off switch

    got this a month ago, charging cover (silicone) very easily plugged out when plugging out charger, after like three uses outside my on off switch got loose and when i place it down gently it turns on and off itself with the sound. kind of annoying, concerned about it when i bring it out and it keeps turning on and off. other then those, picture quality is nice and experience was good
