Bake at 275°F (130°C) for 15 minutes per 1/4 in (6 mm) of thickness. Do not microwave the clay, and do not exceed the recommended temperature or time.

Store oven-bake Sculpey in a cool, dry place below 77°F and out of direct sunlight. Refrigeration or freezing is noted as a way to extend shelf life.

Sculpey is commonly used for jewelry, small figurines, DIY home décor, and mixed-media crafts. The clay is suitable for beginners, kids, and general crafters.

After baking and cooling, the clay can be sanded, drilled, carved, and painted—water-based acrylics are commonly used. Listings also note you can bake first and then paint any color you choose.
