Most small Marvel blind-bag collectible figures are made of vinyl. Some mystery toys and play-set characters are made from other plastics.

Age recommendations vary by product line: many mini vinyl figure packs are labeled 3 years and up, while some mystery sets and starter play packs are labeled 6 years and up.
