Super quick and easy to prepare, taking only one minute, which makes them perfect for a busy day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try these noodles, as my daughter loves udon. Sadly these noodles didn’t meet our expectations. While the prep was simple and quick, the meal lacked any flavor. It was bland & texture was a bit soggy. The portion was acceptable but I’d personally pass on these again myself. Maybe you’ll find them more enjoyable than I.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yulu Foods Nom Nom Udon Bold Shallot noodles are fast + easy to prepare and tasty! The shallot taste is definitely bold!! It’s similar to caramelized onions and smells amazing! The noodles are premade, so you just have to put it in the microwave for about a minute. I prefer not to cook in plastic or use the microwave and the noodles were clumping together a bit that’s why it’s not a 5 star rating for me. But overall, it’s a fast tasty meal.

Good flavor. Not spicy. I added cilantro, scallion, and Sichuan numbing oil to perfect it :P. Fastest instant noodles in the world. 1 minute! It’s made in Taiwan so this must be super authentic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had many instant noodles including other udon noodles and in comparison these are okay. There’s nothing inherently bad about them, they were still filling. The noodles themselves were slightly mushy. I prefer a more al dente noodle. I think because these noodles are still wet prior to cooking they are very easy to overcook. The sauce was a very neutral flavor and nothing really stood out flavor wise.

Overall I would say it tasted good but I didn’t finish it because unfortunately they use cellulose gum which is a very high risk additives. For that reason alone, I wouldn’t recommend it. I would recommend they reformulate in a way that doesn’t expose consumers to this unnecessary texturizing agent.

I poured the sauce over and gave them a try. The noodles are a very strange texture and for the amount of calories, not worth it. 90 grams of carbs and probably 6 bites or so. I'll pass.

I enjoyed the taste of the bold shallot as it was not overpowering. Even added a bit more green onions to make it look nicer. Noodles came out perfect as it was not too hard or chewy, as long as you follow the cooking instructions. It smells amazing once it’s ready to eat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I are huge noodle fans and this was the best instant noodle we have ever had! In one heating minute, the noodles are perfect. The bold shallot sauce mixed well and the noodle grabbed the flavor instantly. The shallots had a nice strong slight onion flavor and did not leave a bad aftertaste. The sodium is a little high per bowl which is the only downside and if you’re looking for broth you may have to add a little water. Overall great dish!
