  • Bust

    Measure across the fullest part of your bust, keeping tape measure level.

  • Torso

    Run tape measure from the top of your shoulder,between your legs & up again back to where you started.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortably loose, level line around that point.

  • Hip

    Stand with your feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of your hips & Seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

A flattering cotton knit skirt

This is a lovely, high quality knit skirt. (I haven't washed it, so...) It's 88% cotton w/12% nylon to help maintain its shape. The small is body-skimming on my 5'3" 125# frame. It hits mid-shin on me like the photo and could maybe be pulled all the way up for a strapless dress. The waist is just a little too tight, so I'm going to try a medium. I think it's priced a little too high for Target, but I really like that there's a matching top and the cotton fabric totally sold me.
