Say hello to soft, smooth and shiny nails with the Trim Salon Board that gets rid of rough edges and unsightly ridges on your nails. Two different grit surfaces gently buff away and smooth out edges, on both natural and artificial nails. The heavy duty and medium grit buffs and smooths edges to give your nails a soft, seamless finish. Compact and portable, just toss one in your bag for quick nail fixes when you're on the go.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Nails should always be filed when dry to ensure smooth edges. Place the board under the nail edge and file in one direction only.

FOR ARTIFICIAL & ACRYLIC NAILS: Use board to smooth and blend the seams between artificial nails (or tips) and natural nails. Board can also be used for shaping and maintaining tips and edges of artificial and acrylic nails. Hold board at an angle and file in one direction only.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Brush board under running water. Pat dry and allow to air dry.

    Odd texture on the heavy duty side

    The texture of the blue/green side of these boards works great on my natural nails. However, the black side of the board has an odd rough texture that felt unsuitable for nails in general. It wouldn’t move back and forth for the filing motion. I wish the boards were available with the blue/green on both sides.

    Not my favorite

    I was looking for an alternative to a glass file because the sensory experience of using one is so unpleasant, but these are starting to peel at the edges and bend a bit at the ends after only two or three manicures. My nails aren't super strong to begin with but I don't feel like I'm getting a clean edge on my nails no matter what technique I use. I haven't really gotten any more use out of these than much cheaper emery boards that come in a large package, so I don't really know what niche these are supposed to fill for the price when they're going in the garbage soon anyway. I wish I'd invested in something more durable like a metal file.
