protective lids were missing. not sure if it was a manufacturer issue or tampered with.

Should not have changed the formula. I have been wearing this deodorant for years and really dislike the new scent.

Just bought a fresh pack of the powder fresh solid and it's not the same and it smells awful!!! The smell is similar to public restroom handsoap, strong and chemical heavy. I can't believe they would change it after 30+ years of consistent awesomeness. Someone needs to be fired for approving this change. The antiperspirant doesn't seem as effective, either.

Hate the new smell, it’s so gross, and there must be something else added in the fragrance because my underarms itch!! I have been using this product for probably 30 years without a single complaint but now I have to go find a new product. Augh!! Go back to the original!!

The best women’s deodorant! Light scent, nothing overpowering. Works great and keeps me smelling great all day long. This shape is better than the one with the curve sides, I don’t know why they are different, but this one is the better one. I have been using this deodorant for years and it’s the best I have found.

Consistent and priced right

I am not sure what changed about secret deodorant , but after forty five years of using it ,I can't use it anymore. I have always used the spray. But I tried switching to the Clear gel same thing, My underarm area gets very irritated and stays that way til I wash it off! I bought a different brand after all these years and it doesn't irritate me so because of the changes I will not be buying Secret anymore. I bought 3 different Secret deodorants before I gave up.

Something has definitely changed in the Secret Solid Powder Fresh Scent. It breaks, crumbles and falls apart, after barely using the product. The performance is lacking, as well. It is sticky and gummy for some reason. I have purchased 4 packages from different stores to verify these issues. A CLASSIC which has been changed and NOT for the better. I'm in search for a reliable replacement.

I used Secret Powder Fresh for 20+ years and I loved it. Got my boyfriend (now husband) to try it and he loved it too. But something changed a while back and the deodorant is no longer effective as an antiperspirant. He stopped using it several years ago, and now I've finally conceded to find another product.

This has been my go to deodorant for decades. I always buy it in 2 packs on sale so I did not have to purchase any until recently. The smell is different. At first I thought it was something else in my home and sprayed febreeze to try to get rid of the smell and then when I put it on again today I realized it was the deodorant! I don't know when or where it changed, but it is not the same scent at all. Powder fresh was just a light sent of baby powder but kept you from smelling, now it is strong, I am going to have to shower and use an older one from my camping bag. I am unfortunately going to have to switch brands now unless you switch it back. It smells more like bathroom deodorizers in businesses. Please switch it back!

Have always used secret and I’m 74 years old.

After all these years you change the one product that worked. Why? I'm a 64 year old man who used this since my high school girlfriend let me use hers in the late 70s. I told everyone I knew it WAS strong enough for a man. Who ever decided to change it should be at Cracker Barrel.

You ruined it! I have been using this product since I was a teen! The smell is completely changed. It's GROSS and giving me headache. I just threw away the brand new two-pack I just bought and had to shower it off. Now I'm headed back to the store to buy something new for the first time. Why did you change something that worked just fine? A fun obstacle to add to the rest of perimenopause.

What have you done? I had a bunch of of the solid powder fresh, so I am just now buying again and realizing you ruined it. I've been using it since I started using deodorant and I'm 41. I used to be able to not smell any odors between showers. I would put it on in the morning and wake up the next morning feeling fresh before my shower. This is embarassing to say, but in times of depression, I could go a week without showering and still not smell anything. Now I wear it and it doesn't even last the full day and it makes you itch, like others have mentioned. Why do companies insist on changing formulas that have worked for decades? It reminds me of when Tide decided to change their original formula and they lost a bunch of loyal customers. This new version is just as bad as their invisible version. Think about it. If the invisible version was as good as the solid version, why would you need to keep the solid version when no one likes visible stains. It is only because the formula worked so well that people keep buying it. Now it is on par with every other deodorant on the market so we don't need to stick to this brand. Sales for it might not be as much as the invisible version because some people have never tried the solid, but you will lose a lot of loyal customers and future loyal customers to the brand. I buy it for my 4 kids (boys included). If you want to boost sales for it, maybe market it better by changing the color of it so it stands out and say something like "maximum strength" or something and please go back to the old formula!!!!!

I’ve been using secret deodorant since I started using deodorant, and I’m 55. I don’t know if they changed their formula, but now I find that it’s giving me a reaction and is extremely itchy. I thought it was just me, but my 27-year-old daughter brought up in conversation that she is experiencing the same symptoms.

Overall, I really enjoyed using this product. The actual deodorant is really nice, but there were two separate containers that got knocked to the floor or dropped by a family member and then the twist mechanism broke. So I essentially only got 3-4 uses out of an entire stick because the container wouldn’t push out more deodorant.

I have used Secret Powder Fresh for years and Loved it. Now it stinks!!! What happened? So disappointed. No more Powder Fresh for me. Why did you ruin a good thing?!
