    Love the Jug but see an issue

    We love the Jug but in the bottom we noticed a black mark. Thought it might have been from ink that was in the card inside, but it is actually a nick in the ceramic. This should have been caught.

    Good water bottle

    My son plays lots of tournaments and this jug comes in handy for multiple games in a day. That's the good news. This is tough to explain, so try to follow me...the black jug has like a lock thing on the lid to help keep the screw lid away from your face. The white one I bought did not and the screw lid just flops in your face or you have to hold it back. I'm not sure why the same exact jugs have different features. I bought a black one and white one at the exact same time. I've been a long time customer of RTIC, but have been a little disappointed in the last few products I've purchased. It loses stars because of the difference in the same product and the ongoing disappointment.

    Bad Taste

    I purchased the jug because I wanted to have cold water for my kids on tournament days. I went with this specific jug because I had an Rtic cooler that is amazing. Unfortunately with this jug, it is lined with a white ceramic type interior and it gives the water a bad taste. I’ve washed the jug a handful of times and to no avail, the water still has a chemical taste. Additionally, what let me down was the water did not retain ice. After 4-5 hours outdoors at the park, the ice did not last. Meanwhile, my Yeti tumbler was able to keep more than half full of ice.

    Ice cold tea

    Keeps ice all day in my tea fishing here in California. I like it because it saves room in the ice chest. I just put this in a bin in the boat. Works great!

    Older model performed better

    I bought this one because the old lid was too hard to drink out of. Here in Arizona summers you need fast hydration while playing sports. Unfortunately this newer model does not hold ice nearly as long as the original mode. Very disappointed. Pros - lid / ceramic lining / handle Cons - doesn't keep ice as nearly well as the older model / non interchangeable lid

    Work Jug

    Very well made jug, I take this to work and it holds enough water for a 10+ hr shift. Keeps water nice and cold easy to open lid and built very sturdy, my favorite part is the tough metal handle. Also the taste of the water is excellent…. . not that crappy plastic taste! I highly recommend this jug for working people.

    Yes I'd buy from then again.

    So far I love this jug. I only wish I would have made my image bigger or cropped it so that I could see it better (chihuahua camping). I would have just done a chihuahua with a backpack and no scene.
