    Please inspect and purchase carefully

    I purchased this specific food because one of my dogs is very itchy and prone to allergies. My local petsmart was out of stock so i purchased at target. I get home and didn’t touch the bag for about 5-6 days and then once opening it seemed fine nothing out of the ordinary. I fed to my dogs for a few days and then they refused to eat it. I thought that was strange so I inspected all the kibble and found larvae all in and around the dog food. After researching what it was it’s some type of pantry moth larvae which is a contamination issue and can spread easily to other dry food. Whether this is an issue with Purina’s quality control or Target having expired batches of food is unknown but please please be careful out there.

    Targer Failed

    I am not reviewing the dog food, I am reviewing Target. They left the dog food out of my delivery. When I called customer service they offered no resolution beyond a refund. I asked for expedited shipping to replace the items that were not delivered but they could not do it. I can go to the site and get expedited shipping but they couldn’t offer it. Gotta run to the store so my dogs can eat. Thanks for the fail Target.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family loves purina pro salmon formula, so I was excited to try purina one salmon formula to see if it made a difference with my pup. My Shiba Inu has a sensitive belly. If he eats chicken he will have destructive farts and his skin gets really itchy. To be fair, I can’t say there was much of a difference between the two dry dog foods, but he loved the new food and he had good poops, so I take that as a win!

    Perfect kibble for dogs of all sizes

It’s hard to find something that she will enjoy eating AND won’t upset her tummy. I had her try this salmon kibble and she readily ate it! I was surprised she didn’t turn her nose up when I started replacing portions of her current chicken kibble with this one. The pieces are nice and small, so they are easy even for a toy-breed dog to eat. I’ve tried a bunch of different WSAVA-compliant kibbles, and I can tell you that Purina never fails to work wonders for my little girl. Her skin is always supple, her hair is always silky smooth, and her energy levels are high. I am very happy with this Purina ONE Plus dog food and will continue to buy it. #ad
