Porta Roman Style Margherita Pizza - 15.5oz

This pizza was excellent! It is light on sauce, which I prefer. I think that’s because the sauce is very flavorful so it doesn’t need much. I appreciate that the ingredients are natural, high-quality and there are no harmful preservatives. It’s rated 63/100 (good) in the Yuka app. I did add a little extra frozen cheese because I thought it was a bit light on cheese. I added fresh basil from garden after it was cooked because I like a lot of basil. It was probably the best frozen pizza I’ve ever had and tasted more like takeout pizza. I’d recommend this pizza if you’re looking for healthier alternatives and high quality ingredients without compromising flavor. I also broiled it at 500F for about 3-4 minutes at the end to give the cheese those little brown bubbly spots. I wish I would’ve taken a picture for this review because it was perfect.

Honestly surprised by how well rated this is. The crust was so hard I couldn’t even eat it, and this pizza was at least 1/3 crust. Pizza itself didn’t have much flavor. I wouldn’t ever rebuy this, but especially not at this price.

Very little sauce and cheese. Mostly hard crust. Did have a nice basil flavor. Looks absolutely nothing like the pizza on the box. I feel catfished.

Wow! Amazing authentic margherita pizza. Expensive but well worth it. Restaurant quality. I followed the recommended suggestion and drizzled olive oil on the pizza (I did crust only) after it was baked. Made such a difference. High quality ingredients. Tasted incredible! Did not taste like frozen pizza. Will buy again and again.

The crust tastes authentic like my Nana's, but except for some delicious cheese in the middle and very little tomato paste, there were NO other ingredients to be found! Did not look like the picture. I paid so much more for this pizza yet it was nearly only crust. I won't be buying it again.

I love pizza, Detroit style, New York style, wood fired, etc etc. Frozen pizza just doesn’t make the cut… until now. This is the best frozen pizza I’ve ever tasted. Full disclosure, I actually baked it at a higher temperature by mistake, and it still tasted delicious! The crust is thin, has some “bubbles” and had a slight crisp, possibly due to the higher heat. The sauce tasted authentic, not jar like. The cheese was decent. I don’t think you can get a “fresh” taste from frozen cheese. I thought the ratio of cheese and sauce was pretty balanced. This is the perfect size for me and will satisfy a pizza craving when I don’t feel like ordering out!

This is incredible for a frozen pizza!!! The crust is crispy and so flavorful, you can smell the olive oil! The pizza toppings are perfectly portioned and as fresh tasting as you can get for frozen. I’ve already added more to my cart to keep on hand for those nights that just call for pizza and fast! Definitely a better option over takeout too!

Finally a real authentic Roman Style pizza that I can enjoy. Margherita is my nieces favourite and she can't get enough of it. Also a safe option for her restrictive diet. Thanks Porta, you're top quality in our households.

This crust is unreal!! Added a little bit of olive oil and extra fresh basil after baking and it felt like I'd just stepped off the streets of Rome!
