Q: How do you suggest preparing if you don’t have a microwave?

  • A: Hello! Appreciate your question on how to best prepare our grilled cheese sandwiches. If you do not have a microwave, you can take out of your freezer and place in your refrigerator a few hours before you plan to prepare so that it has a chance to thaw out a bit before you place in the toaster. One defrosted, please place in your toaster and cook according to the instructions on the package. Cook for one cycle in your toaster at Med/High setting. The sandwich will be hot after toasting so please use caution. You can also prepare in an air fryer! Air fryer directions: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Unwrap the sandwich and place in the air fryer basket. Cook for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through. Thank you and enjoy!!

  • A: Hi! Thanks for your question! Yes, you can prepare Lily's Toaster Grills grilled cheese sandwiches in either a toaster oven or an air fryer — whichever is more convenient for you. Instructions for both are below. Toaster oven: Remove the plastic film from the sandwich. Place the frozen sandwich directly on the middle rack of the toaster oven. Set the toaster oven to 350°F on the Toast setting. Cook for 5 minutes. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes. Flip again and toast for 2–3 more minutes. Air fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Unwrap the sandwich and place in the air fryer basket. Cook for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through. Enjoy!

We do not recommend eating any variety of our grilled cheese sandwiches without going through the recommended preparation instructions on the back of package. When you place in your toaster (or air-fryer), you will get a warm, crispy outside with gooey cheesy inside. Without heating, you will not have this experience. Toaster Directions: 1) Remove sandwich from plastic wrap. 2) Microwave for 30 seconds. 3) Toast! Set your toaster to medium-high and toaster for one cycle (depending on your toaster). Thank you!

    Surprisingly good!

They don't have that buttery crust like a homemade grilled cheese, but other than that they are just the same. And they are very affordable. I will keep these in the freezer for when I'm hungry but just can't cook for some reason.

They are easy to bring as a work lunch where I can't typically make one, and they also don't cause mess in the toaster like I feared they might. Portion, flavor, and texture are lovely. I was only able to try the classic this time since me store was out of the garlic bread version, but I'll definitely give it a try as well when they restock. So glad I'll be able to have grilled cheese and tomato soup for work lunch this fall because I tried these!

    Decent Snack But Not A Meal
