Fun design for Shrek and Lego enthusiasts

Feels Like a Real Lego Set

Coming off a Snoopy build that was a bit bland, this set was so much better and looks awesome as a display piece. Appreciated the Puss-In-Boots minifig but in reality, it didn't add value to the build itself as the scale was too small. And the lack of stickers was a big plus. Really impressed with this one.

By step 319 it becomes im possible

Following all steps it goes smoothly until you hit step 319-320 then the build that you have followed step by step no longer works. Waste of my time and I regret buying this!

Really fun Shrek set!

Fun and easy to build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was very fun to build and kept me busy for a while. The design is brilliant and looks so similar to the fictional characters in the films. It was very easy to assemble with the given instructions, also with the option to scan a QR code and follow the instructions on the LEGO app. It is very light weight and does not take up much space at all, perfect to be displayed on a shelf or in a cabinet. Would highly recommended this for some fun and entertainment.

It's three amigos of the swamp

I pre-ordered when it was first made available to do so, and it was worth the wait. Easy build that slowly revealed the fun at each stage. My only small gripe is that I am missing a piece for Donkey's back hip and had to replace with a piece that doesn't quite fit, so I will have to place an order for the correct one. Other than than, this is good and I wonder if we will expect Fiona or others since another movie will be coming out.

Brilliant fun build

I bought this kit because my daughter and I went to see it at the cinema when it came out and have seen it many times since, so when Lego brought it out I just had to get it. And wow, a fun kit to build and the photos don’t do the end result justice. They have managed to capture all of the characters really well - even Puss in boots is great as a mini figure. Not sure you could play with it but I’ve no intention of that anyway, this was like all my Lego for display. I would recommend this to any fan of Shrek. I hope they bring out other characters from the series. Fiona, dragon and a ledger Puss would be great. 10 out of 10 in my opinion. Go get it you will enjoy the build I am sure.

Nostalgic, but fragile and disappointing

For those of us who watched this movie in theatres, what a nostalgic build with cute little easter eggs hidden. However, for being a set with so many pieces, I am very disappointed in the stability of this set. I realize this is more of a "make it and leave it on display", but would be nice to move it to put it at it's display spot without having to rebuild half of it. It is very flimsy, and seems like it is missing something. Unfortunately, my most disappointing set yet, but I think I had too high of hopes due to nostalgia.

If your set seems like it's not very sturdy, the best thing to do is double-check your build. Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be.
