Lands' End Men's Big No Iron 9" Plain Front Chino Short - 44 - Black

Very well made and soft material, but the waist size runs larger than labeled. Just remeasured my waist with tape, and it was 44 vs. the Traditional Fit 42. Does well with belt. Glad I passed on ordering a 44 waist!

Purchased this a few months ago and it went through a few wash cycles by now. Material holding up well and no regrets on the purchase. I wish it had the tiny bit of elastane that the previous year’s version had. Would be even more comfortable since I am active.

My husband had this style number a few years ago and they fit beautifully. This time they were wider and did not fit as well. His physique has not changed, so we had to return them.

Pants are good; zipper too short. The zipper on these pants are much shorter than any of the other shorts I have purchased from Lands End.

As a long term customer, I am disappointed by the deterioration in quality: a) the zipper is much poorer quality b) the pockets have been shortened, risking the loss of keys.

Wrinkle resistant, correct fit at a fair price.

Wonderful looking plain front shorts in longer style....but they are all sized one size smaller than all the other pants or shorts. Had to return them.

Ordered 35" waist which was snug. Need a comfort waist option similar to jeans. Quality very good.

These shorts were longer and baggier than the same size I bought a few years ago. I ended up returning them

I bought this a couple weeks ago and am very disappointed with it. It is poorly constructed and quite uncomfortable. It is also a very heavy weight fabric for summer shorts. I had been disappointed with other recent chino purchases (both long pants and shorts) from Lands End in recent years — too tightly cut in crotch, pockets half size, blue dye washed out quickly, etc. Never again!

Past bermudas like this from LE have had a stretchable waistband. These do not. I’m disappointed

Been wearing Land's End shorts for years. The quality of the latest one is as good as the many others. It did take a long time to get the order (four weeks). Is your supply chain being affected or was it just an anomaly?

Purchased for my husband. Love the color. The fit is perfect.

Horrible. I bought a 31” waist and they might fit a 34” waist.

These shorts for my husband for golf will be great. Length…perfect for this tall man. He was pleased when he tried them on. Well made as i expected when shopping here.

Arrived in good time and quality is fine. Just wish 37 inch waists would come back - I would but a lot more.

I already had a pair of these shorts which have been excellent, comfortable and hard wearing. I ordered two more pairs in different colours, which have the same quality but bizarrely different sizing despite being apparently the same size. One pair fits perfectly as do the originals but the other is about an inch bigger would the waist and everywhere else the length despite bearing the same label. As a result they have to be cinched in with a belt and look a bit scruffy. Clearly a failure of quality control somewhere in the supply chain.

Good fit but thicker material than same style previously purchased. Good for cooler summer weather but too heavy for hot days
