Whirlpool/KitchenAid meets or exceeds all standards for safe materials, but our products do have cords, which causes them to make the list. Any time you have a cord, there is the potential for it to come in contact with something hazardous.

    used mixer.

    This was a birthday present. I specifically wanted this one because if the color, the slight yellow hue. There really isnt much yellow in it, its more cream/beige color. however beside that. my mixer was definitely used. the paddle attachment was missing. the bowl had many water and flour stains. when I turned it on, dried flour fell into the bowl. dried flour was on the logo. a scratch in the bowl. i dont understand how target could sell something like this as new. now I have to log thjs heavy thing back to the store to return.

    Overheated and Died

    Overheated and died with only 4 uses within 3 months. I’m absolutely disappointed especially with how much it cost. I am glad Kitchen Aid is replacing it with no issues but still. This is supposed to knead dough and work like a charm FOREVER. If you bake cinnamon rolls or bread, do not buy this.
