It comes out flat misses like flat whipped cream fluffs a bit but it’s an awful product. Hair gets full of knots tangles never had that before w any mousse. It’s just a bad product. I only used it as I was out of my other product. This is a no. I do not recommend.

I found the best volume hair dryer . But looking for the best mousse. After using kenra volume mousse extra with the dryer. It completely changed my look to another level. It holds up and gives the fullness look and was less frizzy . There is no stiffness in my hair . It's smooth and shiny. Well it took few times to understand how to use it . The 1st time when I used I felt it was greasy and no volume . I think my 3rd time use when I used it with the dryer , then it worked amazing. So in my opinion it works great for straighter hair. I tried using this product for my curls, I was not very satisfied. It is easily available in store and online . Overall I would definitely recommend this kenra volume mousse extra but use it with styling tools to give to fuller look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Kendra Professional Volume Mousse Extra! It's easy to use. It's adds just enough volume to my usually flat hair. It's don't get all hard and crunchy. It washes out easily. It also has a pleasant smell to it.

Very nice and gentle to your strands. but without adding any feel of product to my fine hair. No stiffness, stickiness, or product buildup, and my hair stays soft, touchable, with movement and shine, yet it holds my straight style. It's my every day go-to mousse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kenra Volume Mousse Extra 17 is a lightweight mousse that really adds volume and shine to my hair. I have fine, thin hair and obtaining volume is very difficult for me to achieve. Kenra has made it very easy to get the lift that I am looking for. Just a small amount on my damo hair sets it all in motion. Whether I am blow drying or air drying, I know that I am getting amazing volume and shine. I just comb it through my hair and style my hair as I want. When I do a blow out, I love that this mousse protects my hair up to 428°. So I don't worry about damage associated with heated styling tools. I also like that my hair will retain the volume for a couple of days. I don't like to wash my hair every day and this really helps my hair to look great on the second day. My hair still has lift and style without being oily or looking dirty. The only thing I have noticed is that my hair will get a little "crispy" from the mousse if I just air dry my hair. But once it is fully dry, I can brush it out and that stiff, crispy feeling goes away. My hair feels thicker and looks healthy when I use Extra 17.

I wear a lot of protective styles such as braids and I find this mousse to help seal and keep the braids looking fresh! Excellent quality!

I didn't like the fragrance at all. The mousse was heavier than I expected. I didn't notice a difference in my hair at all. It just felt heavier than normal.

Also the next day my hair still felt clean and non greasy and I didn't feel the need to wash my hair immediately like some other styling products I've used in the past.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I struggle to find good volume mousse products. This takes the cake, hands down! It smelled a little odd the first time using it. I think it mayhave just been from the initial product settling as the remaining times have had a very mild and pleasant smell. I used this on both wet and dry hair to compare and let me tell you what! Using this om dry hair was FAR more effective in getting the results I wanted. Side note- I have wavy hair too.

Has a nice fresh scent that doesn't seem to overwhelm or hang on. Mousse is very easy to distribute through my hair and isn't sticky or stiff with a nice touchable hold. Really fell in love with the nice feeling it makes my hair have fullness wether I've blown it dry or just air dried. My hair is naturally wavy but with the right product I can get some curl and this mousse was just right for me. I will use this in my daily hair routines and have recommended to my sister as well.

It dries a little crunchy, which we like better than drying by smooth. We love this product! If you read the label and the product is a good fit, I definitely recommend buying!
