Joolz Aer2 Buggy Lightweight Stroller - Forest Green

I received the Joolz Aer2 as part of Stellar Product Testing, and I was thrilled to try it because I had been eyeing the Aer2 since the upgrade was announced internationally. So far , it has absolutely lived up to my expectations. After using it for trips and everyday outings, I can honestly say it is our favorite travel stroller. The one-hand fold and open is my favorite feature. It really is a true one-hand fold, which makes such a difference when you’re traveling with kids and have your hands full. It’s light and compact enough that I can carry the stroller and our diaper bag while holding my toddler’s hand as we board the plane. It also folds easily to go through the TSA scanning machine, which makes screening time efficient especially if you’re in a time crunch We take this stroller on all of our trips, but we also use it for outings like the zoo. I love that we can fold it up and take it on the sky tram without having to park our big stroller and come back for it. The lightweight design makes getting around so much easier and I can see why this is the main stroller for many families in cities. We saw this stroller everywhere in Hong Kong and Taipei. We also had no problem quickly folding it up to carry when there’s no elevators ie when we were traveling in Japan and Portugal. I also purchased the seat/stand-up board attachment so my older child can use when she doesn’t want to walk, which has made traveling with two kids much easier. The attachment does have one drawback: when it’s attached, I can’t stand completely behind the stroller and have to push it somewhat from the side. I would love to see a future version with a handlebar that can be raised or adjusted so you can push comfortably from behind, along with a foldable seat attachment for more compact packing. Even with that limitation, it’s still the best setup we’ve found for traveling with two kids. I love the upgrades from the previous model, especially the attached leg rest and larger bottom basket, which gives us much more room for essentials. The deeper recline is also a big improvement so the kids can sleep more comfortably. I appreciate that Joolz was able to make the recline deeper, even though it isn’t a true full recline like the international models due to U.S. regulations. The new hook-style recline adjustment is also much simpler and easier to use than the pull mechanism on the previous model. I plan to buy the cup holder to hold my drinks. It’s a small thing, but it’s really convenient when you’re traveling or out for the day. I also noticed the larger front wheels size. Maneuverability had always been easy with the prior model so I suspect the change was to make the Aer2 fold even more compact although the prior model already fits into the overhead bins easily. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the Joolz Aer2. It has made flying, road trips, sightseeing, zoo trips, and everyday outings noticeably easier. The combination of the lightweight design, compact fold, easy one-hand operation, and thoughtful upgrades makes it an incredibly practical travel stroller that gives us the flexibility we need when traveling with two kids. It’s definitely worth the money and we’ve recommended to all our friends as a worthy investment.

I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is a good option for a travels stroller. Folding it down takes seconds, and once it's folded it's small enough to not feel like a hassle to carry or stash in an overhead bin. The canopy also extends further than I expected, which was nice for keeping the sun off during longer walks, and the underneath basket holds more than you'd think for a stroller this size. One issue I experienced was the recline. There's really only two positions, upright or pretty far back, and neither one felt like the right in-between spot for our family. I found myself wishing for more range there. Also worth knowing going in: it doesn't come with a belly bar or any kind of snack/cup holder, so if those are must-haves for you, budget for them separately. The hook to set the recline also developed a small hole on the first use, so durability is questionable with prolonged use. Overall still a solid pick for a travel stroller, just don't expect all the bells and whistles of a full-size one.

I am incredibly impressed with the Joolz Aer² lightweight stroller. One of the first things that stood out to me was just how lightweight it is while still feeling sturdy and well-made. This is the stroller that I wish I had earlier! It folds and unfolds easily and fits perfectly into the bag. I can keep it in my trunk and still have room for groceries. My 2 year old hops right in it as soon as I unfold it. She loves sitting in it and buckles herself right in. I love the sleek design and neutral colors. The light weight and compact design of the stroller makes travel much easier since I don’t have to figure out how to fit the suitcases and stroller in the car. My partner’s first comment when unboxing this was: “wow, this was actually designed by someone with kids.” The Joolz Aer is a perfect travel stroller. Does it replace the stroller we use for everyday neighborhood walks? No. But it has a permanent place in our trunk (giving us trunk space to spare!) and will be our go to for quick everyday outings and of course, travel. The one-hand fold couldn’t be easier and the built in shoulder strap is a game changer that differentiates the Aer from other travel strollers I’ve used that are awkward and hard to carry when collapsed. Once folded the Aer is exceptionally compact and surprisingly light. Ease is the name of the game when schlepping with young kids and the Aer checks all my boxes here. A few other points to note: the stroller comes fully assembled and with its own bag, which is great, but all other accessories are add ons. The five-point harness couldnt be easier to tighten with an under-the-seat one hand pull. The lay-flat feature that’s newborn compatible makes this a great choice for still growing families and the long extendable canopy I found perfect for blocking my little ones from the sun and for daytime naps on the go. The storage basket is better than expected for how small this stroller folds down, and the little pocket on the back of the seat is a nice touch for phones and other small items and eliminates the need for a stroller bag for pocket sized things (but you’ll still need a cup holder!). In short, this is a perfect travel stroller, but it's still a travel stroller and won’t replace your everyday work horse stroller. I’m really loving this new Joolz Aer2 stroller. As a mom of a 1 year old who flies to visit family often, the quality of this travel stroller is better than any other one I’ve owned or tested. It’s great not just for trips, but for everyday outings too…especially if you live in the city or are strolling through busy areas. We actually prefer it over a full-size stroller, since we’re short on trunk space. We just leave this one in the car and grab it whenever we’re out and about. It’s well-built with easy-to-maneuver wheels, and it seems like it can withstand a lot and last a while. The seat has some really nice cushioning and fully reclines for naps on-the-go. There’s even a sun cover to protect baby’s legs. I love how easy it is to fold and unfold with one hand, and it’s surprisingly light. The stroller is also compact enough to fit in an airplane overhead bin, so you don’t have to worry about checking it. And the 10 year warranty is amazing! The only downside is that it has a single pedal for the brake and release instead of dual pedals, which isn’t great if you’re wearing sandals or nice shoes, but it’s not a deal-breaker. It also doesn’t come with accessories like a cup holder or rain cover that some other travel strollers offer. Overall, this is a wonderful stroller, and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something for traveling and/or everyday use in busy or tighter spaces. The Joolz Aer2 stroller is definitely a heavy hitter when it comes to a lot of the qualities we need in a stroller for both travel and for every day use. We live in a smaller home so we don't have much space to keep a big stroller, plus we do a fair amount of travel so this is a great match for us. It folds up really easy and is lightweight for carrying. You can easily fold it with one hand which is nice. I LOVE that it can fully recline, so if our little one is tired and we are out and about she can take an impromptu nap. We look forward to using this stroller for our next baby as it also has the ability to be used from newborn as well which is a really cool featured. The harness is also really easy to put on and I like that they don't get easily twisted. Although it was a little hard to understand the tightening strap system as first but now we love it. The forest green color is so beautiful and all the materials feel very sturdy and should last a long time. The only thing I noticed is that the wheels don't seem to twist and turn as smoothly so if I am only using one hand it is a little harder to turn but its definitely not something that would deter me from buying it. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller. I was initially impressed with the beautiful look of the dark green Joolz Aer² lightweight stroller. It is beautiful and functional. It folds up pretty easily with one hand. However, it is pretty standard of a look and function for the $500+ price range in which it sells. Upon further inspection, I found that there were some key aspects that left me disappointed. First, the tagalong attachment for my 4 year old is not well designed, and does not meet my needs to be able to push the stroller without pushing with an awkward position. So, this stroller only works for 1 of my two kids. Second, the material is made of recycled plastic, and does not have any certifications saying it is non-toxic. Because this is something my child will spend hours in, and because we know from studies that recycled plastic can shed 50% MORE microplastics than regular plastic (and in smaller particles that are easier to absorb/ingest/inhale), I don't feel comfortable with the uncertainty of whether this fabric is doing that for my kiddo. Microplastics can be absorbed through the skin, inhaled, and ingested through food and water. They're a new problem and not one we have a good solution for except to AVOID them. Third, the handlebar is covered with some kind of recycled plastic/leatherette material. This is something that will be absorbed through the skin! I am looking for a cork material/some type of non-toxic material for where I come in contact with the handlebar. The handlebar is where I have most of my stroller contact, why would I be ok with this to be a place for heavy contact with microplastics? Additionally, my hands are then handling my baby and potentially getting microplastics all over her! Finally, I think the stroller seat is too low and should be higher to accommodate more space in the basket underneath. There just isn't as much space as I would like and have seen elsewhere. All in all, it's a good stroller design, but with these drawbacks I just can't say it's a great stroller.

I have a 2.5 year old and just had my 2nd baby a week ago! I live in a city so a lightweight, easy to fold stroller is necessary. When this stroller arrived, I was amazed how small the box was! I was just discharged from the hospital and was able to unpack it easily. The included travel bag at no extra cost is also a treat! I love the forest green color, it's a rich dark green that hides stains well, spit up was no match for it! The fabric felt thick and good quality. The handlebar felt like premium leather, plus the harness material and clips look sturdy. I appreciate the thick support pads on the shoulders, bottom, and waist. At 14 pounds, it weighs next to nothing and feels even lighter when pushing or lifting it. Compared with my other popular travel stroller, this one was significantly lighter and even smaller when folded! My favorite feature is the newborn compatibility, which my previous stroller didn’t have. I was able to use it when my baby was just 4 days old and if you're a seasoned parent, you'll understand just how many appointments there are, so getting there stress free is bliss. The brake is right in the middle, so it’s easy to reach from either side of the stroller. This is really convenient when I’m on public transportation! The one hand fold is simple too, even while holding my newborn! Switching it to this mode is easy. I just reclined the seat and buttoned up the front mesh. It stayed in that mode even after folding and unfolding it. This is really helpful when I’m getting on and off the bus, going up and down subway stairs, or carrying it from my apartment to the street. The storage basket is a decent size although the footrest does get in the way at the front and it’s harder to reach from back when the seat is fully reclined. However, the back liner does stretch down to fit bigger items so my family and I were able to use it for a quick grocery trip! It’s also compact enough to fit perfectly in the stroller area on the bus, even with a diaper bag attached to the handlebar! My husband once carried it fully open up the stairs, although we usually fold it. We love the carrying shoulder strap, which has enough stretch to fit each of us comfortably. The harness is easy to clip together and I love the no rethread design. I can adjust it down for my newborn and if needed, move it back up for my toddler in seconds. The wheels are also big enough that I never felt any hard bumps while on sidewalks! The canopy extending all the way down is a huge plus for me. It blocks the sun and helps keep my baby covered when we’re around big crowds or waiting for transportation. I do love that the peekaboo window and recline have mesh for airflow so my baby doesn't overheat. Even the newborn cover is mesh and I like that it extends higher too, which gives me some peace of mind that my baby is safe and secure all strapped in. My only con is that adjusting the strap width and length can be a bit difficult. I appreciate the design of pulling the straps to tighten and the button under the seat to adjust. But loosening the straps is much harder than tightening them. You have to pull both straps while also pressing the button too. This can be tricky, especially when in a rush, though this hasn’t bothered me enough to stop using the stroller and the pros definitely outweigh this inconvenience. I also think it would be nice to have a few more mesh openings when the seat is fully reclined or when the canopy is pulled all the way down. I wasn’t a huge fan of the zipper and hook recline system either. I prefer the pull down style because it’s faster and easier to use one handed, particularly on the bus or subway. This is such a wonderful stroller - I am truly amazed by all of the awesome features it has packed in for a lightweight stroller. First the design/overall look is gorgeous and looks truly high-end. When I received it, it probably took about 10-15 minutes to read through the instructions and familiarize myself with all of the features. The overall goal is a lightweight stroller is portability, and this one knocks that out of the park. You can easily open, close, and sling it over your shoulder with one hand, with your baby in the other! I'm traveling in a few weeks with just me and my 10 month old, and this will be a lifesaver! The recline is super easy to navigate, which will be great for naps on the go, and it'll make it very convenient if we have another little one in the future who has to recline more. Additionally, the shade extends very far, and the storage below is very convenient! The stroller itself runs very smoothly, especially for a smaller stroller. Overall, I would highly recommend this stroller for anyone looking for a great stroller for on-the-go use, whether it's travel, or quick trips here and there. I’m super happy with this travel stroller! It’s our third travel stroller, and by far the lightest and the best. It’s easy to carry around which makes a big difference when traveling with a baby or toddler or just getting around day to day. I also like how versatile it is and how easily it folds/unfolds (you really need one hand for both). One of my favorite features is the option for a full recline, especially when my little one need to nap on the go. The ventilation vents are also a great touch and help keep the stroller comfortable, while the comfort pads around the buckles make the harness feel much gentler and more comfortable. The basket is decent size for a travel stroller. It can fit diaper bag with possibility to add a couple more small things. Overall, it’s super practical, lightweight stroller with a lot of thoughtful details. Let me tell you, I’ve been really impressed with the Joolz Aer² stroller! Wow, this stroller is perfect for travel and is beautiful. It's lightweight and easy enough for both my husband and I to lift and carry just about anywhere. It has a one hand fold and perfect if you were to keep this stroller in your car for everyday use, it folds so quick and is easy. I found the material easy to wipe down and nice quality. The handlebar is a gorgeous color and really feels elevated and easy to wipe down. There are easy adjustments for the straps and they are easy to click open and shut. I wish that the canopy were bigger just for everyday use since we live in a hot climate year round. The storage bag is cute and nice that it is included. The brake is easy to use as well and you just step on it to brake or release. Overall, great stroller for trips and everyday use on sidewalks. I could not be happier with this travel stroller! Our first outing was a quick trip to the local park. Of course my two year old was feeling extra clingy, so I was able to test out the one handed unfold right away. So simple, so easy! One arm was holding my 35 pound toddler while the other quickly unfolded in one easy motion! I put him in the stroller and we were ready to go in minutes. Our old stroller doesn’t have foot rests, which was a nice surprise on this stroller. It seems much more comfortable for him. We were able to fit his snacks, water bottle, and even his balance bike in the basket (life saver for mom since I usually have to carry that while also pushing our other stroller). Once we were home, I folded the stroller (again-so easy!) and put it in the travel bag. Not only does the travel bag make it incredibly easy to carry on outings (think airport, trains, vacation) but I also use it to hang in my mud room! Now it’s out of the way and not leaning against the wall like my other stroller. The fold is so small that was able to fit it in my trunk with my third row up, which was impossible with my other stroller. When you pair the thin fold with how light the stroller actually is, it makes travel a breeze! My two year old is on the larger size, but he fit in the stroller so well. He was even able to take a nap in the stroller during our zoo trip, the recline options are perfect. I didn’t have to worry about the sun during his nap either, the canopy expanded so far! I have recommended this stroller to all of my friends and I can’t wait to take it on our next vacation. Flying is going to be a dream with this stroller now! I was given this stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Joolz Aer 2 stroller is an amazing stroller for my growing family. We are currently using this as a travel stroller and a compact stroller for the days we need trunk space in our car for our 2 year old toddler who is about 33 pounds. We are glad the stroller is newborn ready right off the box in case we need to use it for a new addition to the family. There was no assembly when we received the stroller and we just took it out of its travel bag. There are some cons that are not deal breakers on the stroller, and we were able to overlook them because there were so many pros. The one handed fold is great, very compact, and easy to use. It was very easy and very quick to fold and unfold. I was pleasantly surprised about the stroller's handlebar height. It is non-adjustable, but the height was tall for a travel stroller at 42 inches for my husband and me. I love that the stroller stands up on its own while folded. I do not need to worry about the stroller falling over onto the floor. The stroller when folded is very compact and doesn't take much space in the trunk and will definitely fit on the airplane overhead bin. We still have plenty of room for groceries, and things we need to buy for errands. For a travel stroller, I am very satisfied with the amount of shade and ventilation from the sun hood. The sun can get very intense in summer and I'm glad it covers his face and upper body. The material feels very luxe and soft. The push was very smooth and the suspension was great. The stroller's suspension was able to go through dirt and gravel terrain with ease. I do like that you are able to purchase replacement wheels for the stroller and increase its lifespan. The 10 year warranty is very generous in case something happens to the stroller. There are some issues that I am able to overlook. There are only 3 fixed seating positions: upright, middle, and lay flat. You can not adjust the seat to a specific angle. The way to adjust the seating positions is not the most elegant. You would need to unzip a long zipper on the back to access the middle position. Then, you would need to unlatch a hook to access the lay flat position. You would have to zip and unzip the zipper slowly, so the zipper would not get caught in the fabric. My child was able to get restful naps in the stroller at the upright position. I do wish the stroller comes with a bumper bar. Although a travel bag is included, it is not padded. With our lifestyle, these issues are not deal breakers as the pros outweigh the cons. Even though I do not need these configurations now, I do like how the stroller can be configured in so many different ways with the purchase of additional accessories. It is compatible with our infant car seat with a car adapter. There is a bassinet cot available for purchase that folds with the stroller. There is also a backboard for a child that likes to stand on the back of the stroller. This is a very beautiful travel stroller and compared to our previous travel stroller and our full sized stroller, this is very easy to use, very light weight, and has made travel so much easier and less stressful.

There are so many things to love about this stroller! My highlights: -one-handed fold and unfold -so compact! easily fits in back of car or even floor under a carseat! -sustainability features -luxe look -smooth ride As we’ve gotten rid of more and more of the baby “stuff,” I’ve been wanting something simpler without giving up comfort or ease, and this stroller is pretty much exactly that. The single-handed expand AND collapse is probably my favorite feature. It makes it so easy to just grab and go. It’s really smooth and comfortable to push, the handle feels super luxe, and the whole thing just looks sleek and expensive. I honestly don’t know how they made it fold down so compactly while still feeling sturdy and comfortable, AND it still has a usable basket underneath! Finally, a stroller that doesn’t take up half my cargo space! My only real critiques: -the seat shape: after a little while my daughter looks like she's slouching in the seat, I can't quite determine the cause but it makes me wonder how long she'll be comfortable in this stroller. -because of the way it folds, the back wheels are pretty close together, which can make it feel a little tippy when going over curbs or uneven surfaces. not a deal breaker but something to be aware of/get used to. I also really like the sustainability features. It’s made with recycled plastic and comes with a 10-year transferable warranty, which makes me feel good about the quality and longevity and means we can benefit another family when we grow out of it Overall, I really love this stroller. We just went on a 10-day trip to Europe and brought the Joolz Aer² with us, which we received as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We actually already have a very popular travel stroller, but brought the Joolz instead to try it out. Honestly it was perfect and we were so happy we brought this one instead. It fit easily in the airplane overhead bin and is light so it is easy to carry, the storage basket was bigger than our other stroller which was a huge win for long day trips, the two recline positions were great for naps on the go, and we put it through the ringer on cobblestone streets with no signs of wear. It came with us on multi-hour city walks, in and out of cars and taxis, and through a ton of rain. It also folds so quickly with one hand, which was way easier than our other travel stroller. The Joolz absolutely crushed it and we are definitely making it our main travel stroller going forward.

The Joolz Aer² has honestly been a game changer for us. I drive an SUV, but our full-size stroller takes up about half of the trunk, so I was constantly having to work around it when packing the car. For our sedan, this was a bigger impact as the full size stroller we have took up the whole trunk and needed to be disassembled first. The Aer² folds down so compactly that we have so much more trunk space now, which has made a bigger difference than I expected, and now this can just live in the trunk! The fold and unfold is incredibly easy. I especially love that there is no separate latch or extra step needed to unfold it. Everything is done through the handle, which makes it so quick and convenient. I also really appreciate the handle height compared to other travel strollers. My husband and my dad are both taller, and they find it much more comfortable to push it. At only 5’3”, I also don’t find the handle too tall for me, so it works really well for everyone in our family. The basket is another feature I really like. It is surprisingly roomy for a travel stroller and holds a lot, which makes it much more practical for everyday outings. We have honestly stopped using our full-size stroller altogether. The Aer² is now our go to for everyday outings, and errands. It is lightweight, easy to fold, is compact and has a lot of more luxury features (fabric, straps, etc). It has made getting out of the house so much easier (especially being pregnant) and I love that I don’t feel like I am sacrificing convenience just because it is a travel stroller. After four kids ranging from newborn to 6 and trying what feels like nearly every stroller out there, I have a pretty good sense of what "works", and overall, I have been really impressed with the Joolz Aer 2. It isn’t the absolute smallest or lightest travel stroller, but it feels noticeably more comfortable, padded, sturdy, and luxurious than its biggest competitor. I also love that it can truly work from the newborn stage through the toddler years. My baby fits perfectly in the included mesh cocoon, while even my newly turned 6 y/o can sit comfortably with plenty of room. The harness straps are also extremely easy to adjust between children of different sizes. The one-handed fold is unbelievably easy and intuitive. I didn’t receive any instructions, and honestly, I didn’t need them. To give you an idea of just how simple it is, my 6 y/o figured out how to fold and unfold it effortlessly without me even showing him. Once folded, the stroller stands upright on its own, which is really convenient because it isn’t flopping around or falling over while you’re trying to manage everythingggg else (iykyk...) ;) Although it’s not quite as lightweight as some other travel strollers, I think the slight difference in weight is worth it for the sturdier construction, smoother ride, and more spacious seat. It can comfortably accommodate a wider or taller toddler or small child, so it feels like something we’ll be able to use for a long time. And don't get me wrong, with it's built in shoulder strap it's super easy to pop on your shoulder, and be on your way. I do have two complaints. The first is the zippered backrest. Changing it from fully reclined to upright takes some effort and really requires two hands to lift the seat and zip everything into place if you have a child in there. That isn’t ideal if you’re trying to reposition a half-asleep or almost asleep child. Once it was zipped upright from laying flat, the fabric also bunched slightly around the head area. It isn’t a deal breaker, but at this price point, I expected that detail to look a little neater. My other issue is the five point harness. Instead of allowing you to combine the side and bottom pieces before clicking them into the center buckle, it has four separate, fairly small pieces that must each be inserted individually. That can be challenging with a wriggly baby or toddler. I tested it with my overtired 2 y/o who was really fighting me, and getting all four pieces connected was not easy. Once buckled, though, it felt completely secure. I also appreciate that for an older child, you can buckle only the lower portion and leave off the shoulder straps. Despite those two small frustrations, the Aer 2, which I received to try out through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, is a smooth riding, comfortable, well made stroller with an exceptionally easy fold. While it is travel friendly, it could easily be your everyday, everything stroller because it feels just as sturdy and comfortable as our standard full size stroller, but it is much easier to take with us. It is a great all in one choice for families who do not want to sacrifice comfort, sturdiness, or room for a growing child just to have a stroller they can travel with.
