I did choose a slightly darker shade than needed, and that is on me, but the other issues remain. I will not be purchasing this in the future

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using IGK Never Miss Root and Scalp Touch Up Spray, and it becomes a staple for my hairlines. I love using it to fill in areas at my central hairlines and around my forehead for a fuller and more polished look. The color looks natural, and the texture is similar to other hairspray. The staying power is incredible. I was worried it might smudge and run when I workout, but even with heavy sweat, it doesn’t. Things to note: I did notice a slight tingling on my scalp immediately after applying. It goes away quickly, but be prepared for it if you have a sensitive scalp. In addition, this stuff is serious about staying on. One wash usually leaves a bit of residue behind; I found that it consistently takes to washes to completely clear the product from my scalp.

It’s easy to apply and stays after waiting for it to dry. It also has a nice but not overpowering smell similar to dry shampoo.

Careful to not hold down on the nozzle for too long, it is a powerful spray despite it being so small so it does cover a lot of area. The coverage is pretty good and there isn’t any scent that’s horrible and has a matte finish for me. Little sheen/shine. For how small and lightly it is, the value is great for those looking to cover possible growth from color.

It’s good for a quick cover up of your need to color your roots and get lazy like me. And maybe your going out or something and want to cover up your roots. But beware if you like to run your fingers through your hair it gets all over your fingers. And you definitely will need to wash your hair that night because it will make your hair greasy. Comes out easy with shampoo. Color wise, I had black hair so can’t really go wrong with black, matched my hair perfectly and you can build up the color.

However, the color didn’t quite match my hair, but it didn’t significantly affect my overall experience. When I first sprayed it on my scalp, I felt a refreshing coolness. The spray comes out quite forcefully, making it difficult to control the amount of color applied. If you spray it on bald areas, it can look quite artificial. It is last long until you wash it. It is a bit wet in the first minute. Personally, I would prefer a powder form over this spray.

The spray method helps you target the specific area you beed the most temporary coverage. I also like using this when I have a protective style and want to add a pop of color to my hair. Easy removal either washing. Can have some transfer if not fully dry before touching or styling. Also notice transfer on my bonnet.

Helps to blend out the grown out roots in with the blonde and doesnt leave the hair feeling stiff or sticky. Easy to shampoo out of the hair as well making it a great product for day to day or special occasions.

The mist is super fine, dries quickly, and lasts all day without transferring. Perfect to cover the front baldness when hair is up. Just make sure to apply a light hand to avoid buildup on the scalp — other than that, it’s a total lifesaver. 🙌✨

The product works wonderfully, covers gray hair, dries instantly, and leaves hair soft without the roughness that hairspray causes. I go longer than I’d like to admit between root touch ups and have been looking for a solution and finally found one. It’s great in a pinch and smells so good too!
