I have been using head and shoulders two in one shampoo for years. It has been my holy Grail for so long. I have hyper sensitive scalp and skin. It’s to the point where the majority of the shampoos that I have tried or even skin care that I try typically breaks me out. I went to the store the other day to purchase my favorite shampoo and found that there has been a reformulation. My gut instinct was not to purchase, but since I’ve been using this shampoo/conditioner for so long and trust the brand, I decided I would give it a chance. Unfortunately, this was a very big mistake. Immediately after my first use my scalp felt a bit tingly. A couple hours into the day I noticed that I was starting to break out on my scalp. My heart dropped to my stomach. I decided to give it a fair chance and use it again. The next day, I tried it again to give it a fair shot. Unfortunately my suspicion was correct later on in the evening. I felt two more bumps on my head that felt like a breakout and were itchy. This is the only thing I have changed in my routine. So I have to do that. This new reformation is the source of my new breakouts. It’s such a shame that this incredible product has been reformulated. I will say that I also found that my hair didn’t feel as soft and as nice as it did with the old formulation. In a way it almost felt a slight bit dryer. I compared my new bottle to my old one and there are some new ingredients and differences in the ingredient list. I’m gonna have to go out of my way to now find as many of the old formulations as I possibly can and purchase them before I find another shampoo brand that works for me. Head and shoulders thank you so much for the years of amazing product. I loved your product so much. Unfortunately, I will be moving on trying to find a different brand and product. I’m hoping that this reformation works for plenty of other people. Unfortunately, for me, this was not the case.

I have no problem with the product. Just be careful if you order it shipped. The bottle leaked and the top was broken. Quite a mess in the box.

There is nothing complicated about this shampoo/conditioner combo. It works every time whether you have dandruff or not. The beauty aisles have so many products, it sometimes feels difficult to choose. This is a great product. I don’t get nauseous at the smell of this product. My hair smells clean, fresh, and flake free! I will say though, I do add conditioner to my ends though, not because this product dries my hair, but because I have curly hair and I need some extra conditioning just on the ends.

Contrary to the description in this article, my bottle of "Head and Shoulders" 2 in 1 classic clean does not list zinc pyrithione as an ingredient
