Fast and Convenient!
I'm so glad I purchased this ice maker! I have a regular-sized fridge/freezer, but I never have enough space for a bag of ice. I use way too much ice to go the traditional ice cube route, and I don't want to pay a plumber to run a water line to the fridge side of the kitchen. So, my only alternative was to buy a free-standing ice machine. I'm so glad I bought this one! I've had this for 2 months and I use it at least 6 days a week. I typically make ice for a few hours at a time, so it's been heavily used from day one. I have zero complaints about its performance. The first round of ice will be smaller and pretty watery. By the third round of ice, around 20 minutes, it's full-sized ice, that's not watery at all. The one caveat is that the ice will stick together when put in the freezer, so it's best to store it in a large Yeti, or Yeti-type, jug. I started doing that instead of going the freezer route, and I always have ice ready to go, without needing an ice pick to chip off smaller chunks. Another nice thing is that if the ice melts, it melts into the reservoir, so no water is wasted! (The machine doesn't keep the ice cold, so it will melt if left in the basket.) Seriously, buy this!

Mix a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 5 parts water. 3. Pour the solution directly into the ice maker through the top cover. 4. Activate the cleaning mode. 5. After the cleaning cycle, leave the solution inside to soak for 2-3 hours. 6. Run the cleaning mode again. 7. Empty the machine and refill with fresh water. Has potential but ice melts fast
The ice melts way too fast and it’s a little noisy. I see the potential for this ice maker however, the ice melts way too fast in my drink and the ice making process is a tad bit noisy. Also, this would be better use if there were more people in my home, since it’s just me, the ice sits for awhile since I don’t use it too frequently.

However, if you are not using ice cubes for a long time, we recommend removing them from the ice basket and storing them in the refrigerator. We also know the unit isn't the quietest — compressor-based ice makers do generate some noise, and we're always working to improve that. Our ice maker went out on our refrigerator. Got tired of purchasing bagged ice. This is just the right size for the 2 of us. If you have a larger family you may want to purchase a larger one. Have to empty ice bucket a lot and add water since it doesn’t hold much but good buy for 1-2 people.

I've bought 3 ice makers and this one so far is the best my favorite. At first I thought I preferred nugget ice ..but I love the bullet ice. I see reviews about mold...but you have to wash it like everything else you may use. I also see the complaining of ice melting too fast in the cup. It depends on the cup you're using. I used my tumbler from BUCCEES and the ice lasts for hours ..6 AM til 9 pm at night...use the same ice for several drinks.

Regarding quick melting & wet ice: The ice maker is not a freezer, so ice will melt faster in warm environments. Please keep the lid closed and transfer ice to a freezer if not using immediately. Regarding slow production: For best results, ensure room temperature is 50°F–105°F and water temperature is 40°F–90°F. Also keep 4 inches of clearance around the unit for ventilation. If your unit seems defective despite proper conditions, please know it's covered by our one-year warranty – we can arrange a free replacement.
