Problem turning on heat
Great unit, HOWEVER nearly impossible to turn on heat even if the room temperature is below setting. I’ve ordered a new battery however it shouldn’t be necessary as the unit is only 10 days old

Love These Dyson Products
These are great so don’t listen to the reviews. It’s a cooling fan. It’s a heater. It’s an air purifier. If people don’t have enough common sense to realize it doesn’t have coolant lines so it’s not an AC unit, that should not impact a review but show their lack of own personal knowledge. As a heater it works better than my Dreo, although it’s also a lot more expensive. The volume of error is great. The noise level to me is within expectations for the amount of volume it’s pushing out. It is a little loud on the heat setting as expected with the heating element on. I love the Wi-Fi and the app. I’m going to purchase another unit. If you understand what you’re purchasing, I think you’ll be very happy with your purchase.

Brilliant air management
I am astounded by the versatility of this machine. I can lower the temperature of my room or direct cool air to my body. Conversely I can raise the temperature to the required level. The level of control of the oscillation is great none for directed air flow right up to 360 for all room cover. It has been good to monitor the air quality as I live on a busy road and the air quality stays well within the green level. I appreciate the nighttime setting as I do have the machine running all night to blow cold air over my face. This machine is a life saver from the extreme weather we have experienced.

Does Not Cool
This is called Hot and Cool - there is no Cooling Function in this unit. It moves the air to give them impression of cooling but it does not lower the temperature in the room. Waste of money if you are buying it for Cooling. False Advertising.

Snazzy
I bought this larger air purifier after being satisfied with a smaller, older model. It’s more effective than expected, with Wi-Fi connectivity and air circulation up to 350 degrees. It heats my open-plan living and kitchen area effectively and quietly. It’s also a good fan, but I hope Dyson will soon introduce a refrigerated cooling option.

Dyson Purifier Hot+Cold
I am very pleased with the H & C HP1 so far. As I have only had it for a couple of weeks I cannot make any firm comments other than to say that it works well. I am not disappointed with the purchase. There is only one suggestion that I would make: Bearing in mind that one should not carry the machine by the hoop, why cannot Dyson add on a some small handle on either side of the machine to enable ease of movement?

Faulty unit.
Straight out of the box the fan was not cold. On the second try it switched itself off. It has been returned.

Noisy but ok
Similar to previous model. Still noisy. Unable to get it to a quiet enough level to sleep. The night feature doesn't do anything for the noise level. Other than that, generally good.

Not living to expectation.
I bought this product thinking it would be much better than it really was. I am very disappointed. The cooling is awful and barely works, the heating is ok but for the price definitely disappointing. A box fan produces cooler air…

Absolutely perfect
I bought this over a month ago during the heat wave and it's the best purchase I've ever made in my whole life it's absolutely amazing at first I was a bit sceptical cause I thought Why would I get a purifier instead of a fan or Aircon however It'sAbsolutely amazing and I love it and I recommend. I've not yet use the heat settings Because winter is not started however I tested it and it seems to be amazing Very useful very convenient I can control it from outside the house as long as I'm connected to Wi-Fi. I highly recommend.
