Q: How on earth do you open these new pumps? I used to just turn the top of the pump and it would spring up and be ready for use. The new ones aren't working.

  • A: I have the same problem and I do exactly what they say to do and what the person said to do on here and it doesn't work at all so I'm glad I still have the original bottle because otherwise I would never be able to open it. There has been times where I even get a knife and pop it open and at times I'm successful that way but other then that it's useless. They really need to fix it.

I do exactly what they say to do and what this person said to do  and it does not work so thank God I have the old bottle and I just add the new one into the old bottle so that I can have a pump but they really do need to fix this because regardless if it has arrows or not it's obvious to turn it because always tidy lefty loosey that hasn't changed the only thing that has changed is the quality and that's why it's not working.

Even though the one person replied that had to take the whole bottle apart and do whatever she said and it would work I’m sorry, but that’s too much work for us to do. We should be able to twist it and it should be able to come out. I’m gonna buy it one more time and if I still have a problem, sorry no more Dial!

  • A: The new bottle has no arrows or anything to indicate how to use the pump. After taking it completely apart I figured out it requires you to reattach the pieces to engage the soap "suction"

  • A: Thank you for your interest in Dial. To open, hold the neck of the pump in place and turn the top counterclockwise. There is an arrow on the top of the container showing which way to turn the top. Hope this is helpful.

    Dial refresh and renew Spring Waters

    I have been using this soap for years, I'm really sensitive to strong heavy smells. I bought a bottle at Target, they changed the formula, so I ordered it on line from another location hoping it was a fluke. It smells like mens cologne , it's such a heavy scent. I'm so disappointed. Now i'm going to have to go thru several brands to find a new scent. Why can these companies just leave well enough alone.

    New scent is really bad

    This was my favourite body wash for at least ten years. Sadly, Dial recently changed the scent. Instead of smelling fresh, it now smells like chemicals. I thought it was a bad bottle somehow, but I found out through the purchase of several from various stores/sources that Dial actually updated the scent. Unfortunately, I had to find a different product completely because of how bad the chemical smell is.

    New formula smells bad

    I opened a new bottle this week and realized the smell was strange—like it had gone bad. Then I discovered that all my bottles smell the same way. The product, whose scent I used to love, now makes me want to throw up. I won't be buying it again.

    Blue soap sucks now

    The new formula sucks!!!! Me and my husband hate the smell and will be switching away from dial. I’ve purchased the blue dial since back when it was antibacterial, 15+yrs . The smell was always very faint. No scent at all pretty much and loved it! The feel and smell sucks!

    Scent change smells horrible

    What have you done and bring it back to what is was before. My family and I have been using this body wash for a minimum of a decade and with my most recent purchase i noticed my bathroom smelled different but hadnt had a chance to use it. This evening i took a shower with it and I am absolutely disgusted by the new smell of the spring water. It smells like ax body spray and I now smell like mens cologne. This is so gross now and I am so upset by your choice to change this product.

    The New Formula Ruined the Scent!

    Dial what have you done? I've been using this body wash for over a decade in the 32 oz. size. I recently got a new bottle and the scent that I loved so much is gone. Instead of water it now smells like peaches. I will have to find a new brand. I've loved this scent so much I use the body wash as well as my handsoap. I buy the hand soap by the case. If you've changed that formula as well then you've lost a long-time customer. Change it back!

    Don't waste your money

    This smells and feels like watered down dish soap. Dial Corp needs to bring back the clean rinsing body wash, spring water scent (greenish color), 2-in-1 Antibacterial Cleanser Plus Moisturizer.

    Great Smell, Great Lathe, and Leaves Skin Soft

    There really is nothing I dislike about this product. I have used Dial’s Spring Water body wash for more than ten years. This current version is better than ever. I use this product with my back brush daily and as a full body wash in the shower after exercising at the gym.
