Q: Can you use this as a pre-wash spray for heavy, stuck-on-food specific dishes, that will be sitting overnight in the dishwasher. Alternatively, would it be OK to run the dishwasher’s pre-wash cycle with some dishes that have been treated with the spray?

    Best Cleaning Product on the market

    We can’t live without this in our house. Laundry, dishes, car washing, you name we use Dawn PowerWash for it. Never fails. We have at least 3 bottles in our house at a time.

    Crazy good stuff!

    This stuff is ridiculous! I got mahogany stain all over a white tank top today helping my wife stain a piece of furniture. It was soaking wet from the 90+ heat and 90+ humidity so that may have made difference. As soon as we finished I sprayed the Dawn Platinum Plus Powerwash on it and let it soak for about a half hour. I was amazed! No stain! It’s been great on pots and pans. Even stuck on cheese. But stain on a white shirt!

If the sprayer is used several times in a row, built up pressure can sometimes cause the trigger to stick. Try removing the sprayer from the bottle and reattaching it to release any built up pressure. If needed, running the nozzle under warm water for a minute or two may also help. If the sprayer continues to have an issue, please contact our Consumer Care team at (800) 725-3296 so we can learn more and assist you further.
