It's wider so it feels like it gets more of your teeth and your gums at the same time. It's just the right texture. It's not too hard. It's not too soft. I would recommend giving it a try. They have different heights to the bristles, which helps clean better between the teeth.

    I really like the Colgate Optic White Charcoal Soft Toothbrushes. The soft bristles are gentle on my gums while still giving a thorough clean.     Great clean feeling every time!

    I love the optic charcoal products in general however I buy extra to make sure that I have some on hand! I use this also with the toothpaste which they also make in charcoal, however, the toothbrushes is a much more clever way to have the charcoal in my daily routine without the black of the toothpaste! A great compromise to regular toothpaste instead of the charcoal that I was not a huge fan of I love that they used a toothbrush instead! It's soft and it gets a good clean every time.     I tried the Colgate optic white charcoal, four pack toothbrushes, and they work incredibly well. The bristles are formulated in such a way that it reaches the teeth in between and the harder teeth to reach in the back. The bristles are smooth enough to be gentle on the gums , but hard enough to remove all the plaque and food that gets in between the teeth. I would recommend the toothbrush.     Nice thorough brush

    I really like Colgate toothbrushes. With the height of the bristles you can feel the brush getting into different areas and gums. I do use the brush with optic white toothpaste.     Unique Toothbrush I’m Excited to Use!

    This toothbrush truly feels unlike any toothbrush that I've used before! It's firm yet so feel like it gets around my teeth for a fully clean experience. The middle star is said to help with surface stain removal and I can tell how that could work - it may take some time though. I look forward to seeing any stain removal process in the coming weeks! My only ask of this product is different color options as the black and red is very bold and wouldn't mind a lighter color!     Cleans well while feeling soft

    Polishing bristles

    Comfortable and Effective

    I was impressed with the functionality of these manual toothbrushes. The handle is semi-rounded with a grippable area right where my thumb and forefinger meet. The black bristles apparently contain charcoal to help with whitening. The different bristle heights and unique placement help to clean between teeth and along the gum line. In the middle of the bristles is a soft rubbery area that removes hard surface stains, and polishes each tooth. I found using this toothbrush to be very comfortable, but effective, too. I would probably even go up to a firm or medium, since these are graded as soft. The four brushes included in this pack will last one person about a year, if using a new brush as recommended every three months.     Purchased the Colgate Optic. white Charcoal toothbrushes after a friend recommended the toothpaste. First toothbrush left my teeth feeling well brushed without being too tough on my gums. The bristles cleaned hard to reach spots that are typically only reachable with floss. The only downside is that my adult son took the box with the remaining three home.     The Colgate optic white toothbrushes are great. I love the colors of these as well as the feel of the handle. The bristles of the brush are taller around the edge, then a little shorter, then the polishing star in the center. I would definitely recommend these.     Stress free toothbrush

    I liked the fact that this toothbrush is easy to use by the way the stem of the toothbrush is flexible it really does get into those tight spots. The bristles of the brush are soft and not harsh when brushing which is a plus as well. The packing is easy to open and doesn't use plastic.
