Beautiful book! A great long awaited ending to an amazing story!

Cant wait to read it however Target please stop putting stickers that leave residue on the books. Most of us collect books & hate stickers.. so unless they remove easy.. please dont’t

This was an amazing finale book. It spanned time more quickly than the first three books, and yet still a lot happens over the course of only months. I loved the addition of Luther’s POV and felt it really started to bring the whole story together more fully. I just love the complexity of this story and enjoyed this entire journey. There were lots of twists and turns and shocking moments - some I saw coming and others I did not. By the final 30 or so pages I was glad I was reading alone. I was at the edge of my seat the entire time. I was very happy with how everything ended, even if I was also feeling all the emotions at the same time.

I feared for these characters, celebrated their wins, and grieved with their losses. The way I sobbed, spiraled, and swooned 😭! In Burn of the Everflame, the author delivers a triumphant and heart-stopping finale. Everything online in all places says the target only sticker comes off. This is my second book that the sticker won’t come off and ruins the entire cover. This is extremely disappointing. Not worth saying it’s exclusive when it ends up being the ruined version

I wasn't going to pop in bc we are all different. But I gave Burn 3 stars. And I have this series as high as SJM and RY to me. So to say I'm sad is an understatement. Just to sum up why - Diem pushed Luther away for 500 pages quite immaturely, petulantly, & with such vitriol for no reason (and I'm not being hyperbolic, she was just overwhelmed). The character regression was gutting with no real redemption. My heart hurts for Luther, because he was the rock that was constantly taking emotional beatings , again for no reason. Just gutting bc this was my most anticipated read of the year for years before I even knew SJM was restarting ACOTAR. My heart just hurts but I am entirely empathetic to the fact books are difficult to write. Especially a final. So I'll always love books 1-3 and can't thank Penn enough for them & this world.

Kindred's Curse Saga is one of my favorite series of all time. After the cliffhanger for the end of Heat, I have been anticipating the release of Burn for 2 and a half years. No spoilers here. This is an Epic Conclusion to the series. I highly recommend referring to Penn's socials/website on the recommendation for when to pause while reading this book. I absolutely loved the journey (albiet sometimes very painful) that our characters go on. After finishing, I felt very content with where our character ARCS ended. There are some iconic quotes littered throughout this book that I won't spoil here but they had me giggling and I can't wait to see the fandom embrace them. We do travel across the realms, similarly to Heat to continue previous storylines. Did you have theories on prophecies? Let me tell you that Penn is a genius at revealing just enough information to usto propel the story forward. I had many theories over the years, and I was genuinely surprised and delighted on how they play out. I must spend some time on Diem and Luther. One word to describe them in this book. YEARNING. The yearing in this is so delicious. My heart swelled for them this entire book. Their story concludes in a way that I felt very content (alive or dead who knows?). The social dynamics and question woven through this novel was wonderful, echoing many things we see in society today. Diem's humanity and ethics have been the qualities I love most about her while she navigates leading Lumnos and Emarion. Overall Infinity Stars for Burn and this series, one that I will recommend to anyone and everyone. Congrats to Penn Cole on this amazing story. I can't wait to see what you do next.

I felt every emotion possible. I smiled, cried, laughed, feared, sobbed and felt such joy reading this amazing conclusion. So many times when a series is concluded I'm left feeling like something was missing. But the Kindred's Curse Saga was completed to perfection. It's an absolute masterpiece from start to finish. So many times I kept thinking how can there be so much left to discover, what will happen next? But I simply could not stop reading. Penn has given so much of her heart in this story. The characters she has created come to life from the page and I love all of them. Yes even you Henri. They are flawed, but courageous and love with everything in them. A true work of art.
