Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

    One size which does not fit most

    Wondering why they give size options because the shirt only comes in one size. Ordered for grandad THREE times! Tried Large, Medium, and Small in that order. All shirts are the same size and not a traditional men's large/ XL more like a big and tall size L or XL. Don't waste your time like I did waiting for delivery and having to bring a item for a refund.

    Yay for family Bluey shirts !!

    Had to get these family Bluey shirts as we are big fans!! It fits great and washes well. Haven’t convinced my husband to wear the dad one with us yet but we’re still working on it!!

    Don't buy, it's HUGE

    I never write reviews, but I’m so annoyed that here I am. Don’t buy this! I ordered a medium for my husband as a Father’s Day gift. It was massive. He tried it on and it was at least the size of a large if not bigger. I ordered a small to replace the medium and it was literally BIGGER than the medium!!! The sizes were written on the shirts as the sizes I ordered but they were clearly incorrect. Both going back, not trying again. So disappointed. Bandit would not approve.
