    Cute Idea, but Difficult to Carve

    I loved the idea of having a reusable pumpkin that we could carve, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t for us. The pumpkin itself is pretty difficult to cut, and once you do manage to carve it, the foam makes it nearly impossible to get nice, clean cuts. As you can see in the picture, the edges end up looking pretty rough and uneven. It’s a cute concept, but I think we’ll stick with real pumpkins for carving!

    OH BOY!!!

    Not for carving! I’m using a Henkles steak knife and pumpkin carving tools+ a dirt devil. It’s weird and it’s been 30 minutes. I have paint for my other 3. My neighbors will not like this at all but with full sun real pumpkins were out of the question. I happy I did not end up in the ER. I STILL LIKE THESE. DO NOT CARVE. :)

    great concept. unpleasant experience

    As another reviewer said, this smelled toxic, and the styrofoam got EVERYWHERE. I felt like I was inhaling it/fumes. Also not easy to carve. I don’t know what I thought this would be made of but this was such an unpleasant experience lol. The final product looked decent though.

    Hard to carve but perfect for decor

    So here’s the deal! We love them for decoration but they’re extremely hard to carve. A kid can’t do it. I hosted a carving party and the parents had to do it. BUT for decor of pumpkins around the house they’re perfect!
