  • A: Anytime you put cold water into glassware that has been heated, it will explode. You want to wait until your glassware has cooled to room temperature.

  • A: they are very heavy and appear good quality but they do break and when mine broke it shattered.. the bowl was hot after removing cooked food from it and exploded as soon as it was under cold water.

    Dont buy!!!!

    The lids just do not fit the bowls at all. I’ve put all my weight into getting it to go on and stay on and it doesn’t work. Awful.

    Lids are awful.

    It's infuriating to have to give one star for "ease of use" FOR A BOWL, but these lids are ridiculously hard to fit on them. Did anyone even bother to test these before mass producing them?

    rarely review items, but these other reviews are wrong

    I bought these bowls exactly 2 years ago yesterday (back in Sept 2024). I have never had a problem with the lids at all. No warping, no fit issues. If anything they're a little tighter than my similar pyrex container lids, so they require slightly more force to press on, but I think the seal is actually better. And of course glass has also held up great against all kinds of mixing utensils and the dishwasher. The lids are flat and firm enough that other heavy containers can be stacked on top of these in the fridge. I truly have no idea what issues the other reviewers are describing. Maybe recent QC has worsened??

    Lids do NOT seal

    The bowls are fine but I'm so disappointed that the lids do not seal at all (even though I only handwashed them) I was shaking up a salad and the dressing is leaking down the outside because the lids are not liquid tight as I was used to with the pyrex bowls that never seem to be in stock.

    Figment mixing bowls set

    These bowls look attractive but since they don't have a "lip", it's harder to hold on to the bowl when transferring batter to a pan. Also, the lids don't seal very well and come off when stored in the refrigerator.
