    It seems like something has changed with the formula, and unfortunately, the new version is a huge disappointment. I bought all three flavors, and all of them are not good. Peanut Butter Lover: Hard, chewy, and rubbery. The old version was soft and had a great peanut crunch, but this one is completely different. Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel: Also very hard and chewy. Honestly, I almost broke a tooth trying to bite into one. Salted Caramel: This one has a completely different problem - it tastes like pure sugar. I love sweet protein bars, but this is way too sweet and has an unpleasant artificial sweetness. I really hope this is not the new permanent formula, because these used to be some of my favorite protein bars.

    Tasted like slightly rancid palm oil with a dystopian chemical aftertaste. I am not usually picky about protein bars so I brought these as my only hiking snack, but despite my hunger, I could not choke down a full bar.

    tastes bad

    I did not like it at all. I took one bite and could tell the chocolate flavor was off and the inside is like a stale granola bar. I think barebells have a wayyy better taste for less cals and the same protein.

    These are my new favorite protein bars. I love the peanut butter. I haven't tried any other flavor. I would definitely buy these again.I have been able to use coupons/rebates for them and so that cuts down on the cost, but in a pinch I would for sure them even without. They taste decadent, but they're pretty decent for you.

    Very Tasty & Filling Protein Bars

    I decided to try these as I saw they were on sale and I hadn’t heard of them before. I liked the Salted Caramel and Peanut Butter ones the best, but I did buy all 3 flavors they had available. It filled me up for the whole morning and didn’t leave me starving by the time it wore off. I’d definitely purchase again- on sale or not.

    Personally not a fan as it has a weird aftertaste. The texture is similar to a hard frozen stale candy bar. Has a slight chaluky texture as you chew. I enjoyed the Phorm protein stick so I was expecting something better with these bars.

    Awful. Just awful.

    This is the worst protein bar I’ve ever tasted. On top of that, the additives in these bars are known to cause all sorts of diseases. Terrible brand, terrible bar. Do not buy.

    Great protein snack to keep you going!

    This 1st Phorm protein bar was delicious! It had a wonderful peanut butter flavor with no strange after taste. The texture is like chewing into a candy bar: has some crunch and peanut ribbon layers. Low in sugar and good amount of protein. Just be mindful that if the weather is hot, don’t leave this bar lying around or it may melt. I threw them in the fridge and they were good as new.

    The best protein bars I’ve ever had!

    I am obsessed with these bars! They taste more like a candy bar than a protein bar, but still have 22g of protein. The peanut butter flavor is rich, the texture is soft (not chalky), and they’re actually filling. I’ve tried a lot of protein bars, and these are by far one of my favorites.
