Many earbuds are marketed as sweat- or water-resistant and some include an IP rating (for example, IPX4 or IP54). A few models don’t list any water‑resistance rating for the earbuds or case, so check the product specs if this matters to you.

Most earbuds include built‑in microphones for phone calls and often highlight improved call performance (noise reduction or beamforming) and integration with voice assistants, allowing you to make calls and use voice commands hands‑free.
