Honestly, we were expecting more than 82% and 70% "American Domestic Cat" with a few other breeds thrown in on both our kittens. That's a pretty generalized answer. Our 1 cat we have been told from the Rescuers, Vet & the Shelter that she has Siamese in her, she should be a Lynx Point Siamese, but her results came back with no Siamese showing in it. Now I'd like to do a second test on both of them but they are too expensive.

It’s so fun to find out where our kittens came from. The people we bought them from said they had Maine Coon and Ragdoll in them, but after the DNA results were in, we found out they lied to us. We aren’t mad, but they could have just said nothing at all. Now we know and we don’t have to worry about certain health co dictions. We are very happy with the timing and rapid results!

Wisdom Panel's DNA test for cats is amazing. My results came in after only a week and a half. I was so curious to see what breed my cat is since he has really cool markings and he is very energetic, loves water, and has traits of a more wildcat ancestry. I thought he had to be similar to a Savannah because every detail about him was so closely matched. Wisdom Panel was able to find out for me that he has Highlander, which is a breed that was bred to mimic wildcats in appearance and traits, while being fully domestic. It explains every aspect of my little guy and why he looks so cool and has the body shape and style of a Savannah. I am so thrilled with the results! I can't wait for him to become fully grown so I can see his final size and markings yet I want him to stay young as well. This DNA test also checked for 48 different health genes, of which my cat was clear on all. I just had him neutered last week and the vet was thrilled to have the report on all of the health genes and his blood type and all. She said it is so good to have the info so she can coordinate care well, both now and in the future. for my two litter mates the key to their very different body types and personalities was their second largest % breed. first was 65% american domestic for both. one had 15% norwegian forest, the other 12% siamese and no nfc. these dominated. sooooo helpful !!

Im very happy I used this company. The process was easy. I got the results very quickly. And its fun seeing the different breeds rhat make up my little Dougie.

We found Cici as a tiny kitten. As she grew we kept speculating about the breed. Turns out that she is a mixture of all the cats that we had guessed. She get prettier every day, and it's fun to understand where her unique personality comes from. She should stay healthy with no inherited problems, that's good.

Most of my cats DNA results make sense except the Sphinx cat part. That makes zero sense. I hope this company is legitimate. Hmmmm. . . .

I did not send a picture with my cat. I was given so much more information than just his breed break down. What he looks like, genetic testing, blood type, history, breed information. Well worth the money spent for the amount of information I received back.

I was really impressed. I sent the sample, and didn’t give any more info about My Cat. They describe Him very well . after that I submitted his photo on their profile. Now i’m looking to test my other 2 cats .

the steps for obtaining swab were easy to follow and results came back faster than expected.

I love testing my cats and seeing what is in their genetics, it gives me peace of mind and as a breeder.

My last cat’s dna test came back… says he had a long tail…him and 3 of his siblings all had bobtails when they were born…. So don’t believe really anything these tests say now, thanks.

Our poor rescue was found scrounging for food in a dumpster. After being taken care of by our local vet, she was able to make her home with us. We recognized certain characteristics in her that had not been present in our other two cats. Wisdom Panel really did help to explain tendencies we have discovered in her and not have them being passed off as her being a stray. Nothing but high marks. I had her DNA done because she’s such a spectacular cat/pet, knew she had some exotic lineage. Didn’t see 69% common American Domestic Cat coming!! However, I AM glad to know what her make-up is that makes her such a special pet!

I LOVED that this test could tell me everything I was needing for my cat! I actually found out he’s a Maine coon which is so cool!!!! The only concern is that some cats don’t let you swab their mouth for however many seconds on both sides. I had trouble with that but ended up getting reliable results back even after only swabbing for around 5 seconds! Would totally recommend! Worth the money!!

It was very interesting to learn the different behaviors of each breed. I have had cats in my life for 60 years. I was , of course, well aware that they all have their own personalities. However, Kamala is so different than any that i have had. She is a rescue Kitty. All of ours have been through the years. When she was around six weeks old someone left her in the median of the busiest road in town. She was matted with dirt and fleas. Of course we don’t know how much that affects her behaviors now. We are all a product of our genetics and our environment. Lloyd
