Gimmicky But I'm OK With That

I switched to Scrub Daddy original smiling yellow face sponge years ago. They are so durable, that when I toss one due to "old-age & possible germs" it usually still looks brand new. And in fact, I put them in the dishwasher or microwave to thoroughly clean and sanitize. But eventually you need to replace them. Anyway, I like the versatility of their hard friction scrub, but get them wet and they are a soft sponge too. I do use the eye holes as a grip at times. However, do I need to spend $1 more just to have an octopus, or sea turtle, or Halloween pumpkin shape? Yes. Yes I do. It's comical and makes me happy when I see it sitting on the sink top. Worth it.
