    Requires mystery batteries, waste of money

    Requires batteries, no idea what kind as neither the packaging or the website says. It requires a small (glasses repair kit size) screwdriver to open... and, still nothing. Not clear what batteries it needs. Additionally, it hasn't fit in the few doors I've tried. This was a total waste of money and I'm skeptical of the other glowing reviews.

    Easy way to get extra safety

We bought the lock to our recent cruise. The lock is easy to install in seconds without the need for tools, and its compact and lightweight design makes it convenient for travel. It works on most hinged doors that swing inward. We appreciate the extra layer it provided to us because there are crazy drunk people on the cruise and can walk and open your stateroom in the middle of the night. We will bring it whenever we travel next!

It gave me extra peace of mind and was easy enough to use on the door there. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit or function properly on the locks in my own home, which was a big disappointment. The concept is solid and I really like having a portable option for added security, but it needs to be more universal to truly be practical. If Sabre could adjust the design to work with a wider range of locks, it would easily move into 5-star territory.

    Might not work on all doors

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been to 2 places and neither place did it work on doors. We stay a cheap places so maybe ment for more higher up chains. I did find the plastic kinda flimsy. It kinda worked on the 2nd door, but that where I found the plastic cheap.
