    pls remove Synthetic Vit.-C (!)

    only wish these didn't have Synthetic Vitamin C, and instead utilized lemon extract, or actual non-gmo-non-corn derived-vitamin c. i'm glad there isn't citric acid added, nor added sugars. (natural Fruit sugar is good!)

    Pouches contain BPA

    BPA in the pouch! This is not written anywhere on the carton. Once you purchase the product, the friendly little warning is in very small silver print on each toxin-containing pouch. GROSS! I throw them out and hesitate to trust Good&Gather brand moving forward. Who labels something organic, then packages it in BPA??

    One Star!

    I am disappointed with the Good & Gather Organic Unsweetened Apple Fruit Puree Pouch. I ordered this curbside on November 21, only to find it had expired on November 19. This is unacceptable, as I rely on fresh, safe products for my family. A warning to others: always check expiration dates before consuming. Target, please do better at removing expired products from shelves. This kind of oversight is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately.

    good food, bad packaging

    The applesauce has a great texture. It's not grainy, and not too thin like baby food. It's just right. It's the perfect sweetness and apple taste. It's the packaging that is horrible. I really struggle getting these open. As a preschool teacher, I can tell you that 4 & 5 year olds can't do it themselves. As someone in her 40s with arthritis in the hands, I have great pain when opening these. If I wrap it in a towel, and use a rubber jar opener for the top, then I can do it without pain. So, the food itself gets 5 stars, but the packaging gets 0 stars. Therefore I give an overall 3.
