Left hair oily
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im usually satisfied with OGX hair products but this left my hair so oily and greasy. I had to get in the shower and wash my hair again. I only used a tiny drop so I was surprised it looked as terrible as it did. It smelled amazing, as all the OGX products I've used do, but this just wasnt for me.

I absolutely love this Coconut OGX pre wash gloss! I also love the argan oil one, as well, but this is my favorite. For one, it smells divine! I rub it through my thick, long curls and let it sit for about 20 minutes before showering. This gloss works so well for so many reasons. It works great at detangling unruly hair. It makes your hair super soft, shiny, and generally more manageable. My curls were left soft but defined, without any frizz. I have used this about once a week now. I switch back and forth from the argan and the coconut. I personally think they both work very well. Definitely recommend!

hoping for a little extra shine, and honestly it delivers more than I expected. I apply it before washing like the instructions say, and the "mirror shine" effect is real — I can genuinely tell the difference between when I use it and when I skip it. My hair looks noticeably glossier and healthier, not just "wet looking" shiny but an actual smooth, reflective finish. The coconut scent is pleasant without being overpowering, and it doesn't weigh my hair down once I wash it out. My only downside is that you do need to use a decent amount to cover longer hair, so the bottle empties faster than I'd like. Also, if you leave it in too long before washing, it can feel a little heavy. Still, for the shine payoff alone, I'll keep repurchasing this one.

Convenient and good for dry hair
It is honestly a 4.5. If your hair is dry/very dry, it helps with filling in those tiny gaps on your hair and when you wash your hair the shampoo does not strip it too much. So your hair looks more manageable, softer and much less frizzy. Packaging is very convenient to use, nice size bottle, with an opener that easily dispenses the product straight onto your hair. No spills or mess whatsoever.

not sure how but this left my hair looking really greasy. I even used a clarifying shampoo after and my hair was still oily. I've used 100% coconut oil and other oils on my hair and that washes out more easily than this product did. I have fine and thin hair so maybe this works better for thicker or coarser hair

My favorite thing about this product is the beautiful scent it gives my hair. Since it is an oil, be sure to thoroughly rinse out of hair to avoid product buildup on scalp. Afterwards, I’m left with the healthiest and best smelling hair ever. The smell of this is heavenly. If I could have this as a perfume id definitely buy it. Ive used it a couple times and it leaves my hair so silky soft and the Shine is amazing. It gives great results. Its easy to use just follow the directions on the bottle. Though I leave mine in at max 15 to 20 minutes.
